There's nothing not to like

Everything was great. fantastic location opposite the beach and right on the edge of the town close to bars and restaurants, Joanna the manageress was amazing, super helpful at all times as was the girl who cleaned our room every day. Fantastic pool bar and restaurant and again fantastic staff. This was our second stay here and would highly recommend it.

There isn't really anything much to say negative. Just the shower was a little narrow so kept tangling with the shower curtain but lots of hot water and a good flow.

Lovely views across the road to the beach and bay from the Portobello apartment balcony. Small kitchenette with kettle, toaster and electric ring so could make own breakfast, but also nice open air poolside area to buy good breakfast and snacks from 8:30 onwards. Large, comfortable room with single beds. Good air conditioning Staff were really friendly and helpful and we were made to feel so welcome

The wifi struggled, maybe because we were on the second floor....the view from the balcony more than made up for it! :)

The location is perfect for Elounda town and the beach. We had not been to Elounda before so were unsure what to expect but have come upon a little gem in the Corali & Portobello Apartments for location and accommodation and Elounda is great! The staff are wonderful and friendly and the atmosphere is so relaxed from the moment you arrive. The reception is not open on Sunday but the staff in the bar by the pool were able to show us to our room. The rooms are lovely and clean and sheets and towels are changed regularly. Would happily return for another holiday one day.

Excellent view over the bay with the beach literally 15m away. We spent much of each day reading on the balcony and watching the world go by in front of us. Pool was quiet and good size, with a bar serving drinks and snacks from early morning breakfast through lunch snacks to evening drinks. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The apartments are situated a short walk from the main town with at least 10 restaurants within 10 minutes along the level promenade towards the main town and 3 in the opposite direction. the next town, Plaka, is an hour's walk away along the coast but there is a regular bus service there and to Agios Nikolaus in the opposite direction. We've stayed here 4 times over the last 10 years and are looking forward to returning.

Rooms are of a good size and well-furnished but are approaching the need for an upgrade (although this would also mean a price increase for the following seasons, of course). At present I would be happy for the facilities to stay as they are, providing good value for money.

The excellent location, beside the beach and a good-sized pool with a pool bar make this a great value for money. Shops, eating places, harbour and beach are all very close while the property is at the quiet end of the town making it ideal for both evening entertainment and for a quiet getaway. Public transport (bus) is very efficient and the sea viw from the rooms is exceptional. Staff are very friendly and helpful making life very easy for guests.

Everything. The staff, the position in Elounda, it’s got a great pool, nice pool bar, good breakfast. Very clean. We were in a sea view room and there is a road between the property and the beach. But we slept really well, no road noise.

Air conditioning units in another room was a bit noisy at night. The internet sometimes was a little slow.

The studios are perfectly located across from the main sandy beach and near cafes, a supermarket and restaurants. It also has a big pool and bar area. The studios are cleaned every day, Irma was always very helpful. The room was spacious with fridge and cooking facilities. The beds are basic but satisfactory. We had a very relaxing holiday here.

All was good except Wi-FI was sometimes hot and miss.

Very organised and well run hotel. Also had a pool and good bar. Rooms were cleaned and towels changed daily. The beach was just across the road and 50 metres away. Many tavernas, bars, restaurants and small supermarkets also next door to hotel Joanna on reception was very accommodating and always there if you had any questions

We stayed in the Portabelo apartments, they are older decoration but clean and functional, the cleaner was really good, the bar is great and the pool was a nice place to retreat, location to all the restaurants was within a few minutes walk, beach straight across road.
