Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaUnfortunately, the bed was terrible. The mattress was very, very hard and painful to sleep on. I had to put the blankets under my sheet to create some cushion. They definitely should be replaced. Thankfully we were only there for 2 nights. Request another room if you get this as our friends had a better mattress in their room. This was the only negative, but a notable one.
Great location and hospitality. Pool area and breakfast was good too. Service very friendly and attentive.

SwedenThe included breakfast wasn’t the best and the location of the hotel was a bit off from where the restaurants, stores and bars are.
Great food at the pool restaurant, clean big rooms, and very helpful and friendly staff. They let us keep our luggage in a room to explore the island a bit more after check-out.

ColombiaThey close the pool very early! At 6pm! Absurd! In the hot summer, when there is daylight until 9:30, they should allow people to swim at least until 8. It really is a shame!

United KingdomThe soft furnishings were very well loved and rather 80's - dated but obviously expensive when purchased. The carpets had something crunchy under them, the sensation walking in the room was strange indeed. Renovation of soft furnishings and carpets would make a huge difference and modernise the rooms to meet the level of the pool and bars which are tres chic 💥💕
The staff at this hotel were delightful it's like staying with a welcoming family. Breakfast is amazing there's something for everyone. The pool and bar is wonderful tho a few more sunbeds would be beneficial even alone I struggled to find one. There's not much to do for kids or teens so maybe a short say unless you can make your own fun.

United StatesAlthough the outdoor pool/bar area is recently updated, the rooms are not. The rooms are lacking outlets near the beds which makes it difficult to charge devices. The hallways and rooms are carpeted, making it difficult to roll luggage through the halls. The beds themselves are not very comfortable, although the pillows are. Due to the fact that you are not spending most of your vacation inside of your room, I would say that the hotel is still worth it and a good choice in Leros but the rooms could definitely use a renovation.
The staff at Crithonis paradise are extremely nice and accommodating. As three girls in our 20s, some “luxury” hotels do not offer the same respect to our age, but Crithonis paradise certainty did. The check in and check out processes were extremely easy and we were even able to check in early without a prior request. Although I would rather spend my time at the beach, the pool is very lovely and clean. The restaurant and pool bar have a great and tasty food selection. I recommend the hamburger for lunch as it is amazing! Breakfast is also included which is a great plus. The area where breakfast is served is beautiful and a great way to start the day. Although, the breakfast only lasts until 10 am so if you are a late riser, keep this in mind. As for location, we did not rent a car but it was not tricky to get around. If you would like to go by foot, the hotel is a 13 minute walk away from Agia Marina where the local bars are located. There is also a more local beach 5 minutes away but to get to the more popular beaches, you will have to walk further or go by car.

GreeceWe were disappointed that the pool closed at 6pm, although we did enjoy socialising around the pool after this time. The carpets in the rooms were synthetic and not suitable for the summer months. Though we didn't use the balcony for relaxation, I noticed that one of our balcony chairs was broken. Our room did not have a safe, though our friends' did - maybe one would have been provided had I asked.
The hotel was comfortable and the grounds very attractively maintained. The breakfast buffet and restaurant offered an excellent range of food and on request were happy to cater for food sensitivities. The catering staff were polite, helpful and efficient. The tap water was drinkable. We felt well looked after during our stay. Leros is a lovely island. It offers great food, clear seas and has not been spoiled by tourism.

United KingdomThe loungers at the pool can get crowded and there is some place keeping with towels. A few more umbrellas might be a good idea.
This was the third time I have stayed at this hotel. The staff are very friendly, the buffet meals are very reasonable, there is a lovely pool and beautiful views from the bedrooms over the bay.

United StatesThere were some electrical problems that caused the building to lose electricity and air conditioning on two separate occasions, which interrupted sleep. I don’t think this is a huge issue but it appears to be a common occurrence The gym is not usable , the machines are old and rusty. It was one of the few places we stayed that had a gym so I was looking forward to it
Breakfast was very good, with a wide variety. The pool is beautiful , lots of chairs and shady spots to cool off. All staff were very friendly and helpful; always with a smile they are the best. The snack bar by the pool had drinks and a snack/bar menu available all day and the kids loved lunching there and ice cream after ward. The rooms were more than adequate, beds comfortable and cleaned daily. The grounds are absolutely beautiful too, lots of mature flowers and shrubbery.

United KingdomThe manager at the reception was not at all helpful. She was impudent to the point of rudeness. I booked for a large bed or 2 twin bed in the event my sister from Rhodes was accompanied me for the wedding of my niece taking place in Leros. We were prepared to pay the difference. I made the booking therefore any conversation should have been carried out in English and it was not. She was talking to my sister in Greek. I had to stop her and insisted to direct the conversation to me. There was another elderly woman and she was very polite with me. My sister was so angry she left and did not want to sleep another night in that hotel. This is not what tourism is about.
The breakfast range of food was good. However, not enough fruits on display. Only tin apricot, apple slices, orange cut in segment that is all. What about fresh peaches, lemons and other Mediterranean fruits such as fresh fig. The canteen staff however were excellent. Very helpful. The view was also lovely and very romantic.

TurkeyThe room we made the reservation from booking was a mess. The room was dark and looking to the back side of the hotel. We were shocked with the old orange coverlet and I had to change the room and pay 50 euro more to upgrade. The sea view room was also old furnished but it was wide. There was not even a bottle of water or coffee nothing in the room. The location was near to the centre but there was not a sea side.
It had a lovely pool and staff in the pool area was kind, the food in the bar was delicious. Not the pool but the pool bar is renovated. The lobby and the restaurant were also nice decorated.
