How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewAbsolutely stunning hotel! The staff was very helpful and friendly, always greeting us with a big smile. The food was excellent, we also had the floating breakfast by the pool which was not only delicious, but also very fun. The room was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Big shoutout to the manager mr Lampros for helping us during our stay . Honestly we would give this hotel a 20/10 if it was possible, we can’t wait to go back!

Verified reviewAbsolutely beautiful piece of architecture. The private beach is absolutely stunning. The resort is secluded but still not very far from everting as it is a small island. The staff go above and beyond to guarantee a perfect experience. I would absolutely recommend to a friend.

The fitness center could be better equipped, and it’s important to ensure all machines are in perfect working condition.

Verified reviewI came to D’Andrea Lagoon because my partner had wanted to visit for many years, and I’m so glad we finally did, it turned out to be an incredible experience for both of us. We stayed in a beautiful swim-up room that offered complete peace and relaxation. The beach is only a short walk away, with crystal-clear water that’s perfect for swimming after a workout. As someone who does a lot of sport, I really appreciated how well this hotel caters to an active lifestyle. There’s plenty of space for outdoor exercise, and the surroundings are perfect for morning runs or training sessions in fresh air. The healthy food options were excellent, fresh, balanced, and full of variety, which made it easy to keep my nutrition on track while still enjoying the local flavors. The staff deserve special mention: welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. A big thank you to the Hotel Director Lambros for making us feel so at home, and to Ioulios and his team for their great service and positive energy. The entire hotel is spotless, with an impressive attention to detail that shows how much they care about their guests. Whether you’re looking to completely unwind, stay active, or enjoy both, D’Andrea Lagoon is the perfect choice. We left with wonderful memories and are already planning to return.

No towel hooks in the bathroom or cloak hooks in the bedroom. No where to hand wet towels or dressing gowns which was annoying. Majority of the staff were great. A couple of the lunch time staff were very slow. Music in the sunbathing area was too quiet or none existent. Would have been nice to have background music throughout the whole sun bathing area. A couple were playing their own loud music from a swim up room on two days which was distracting.
