Absolutely everything

Ok so nit picking, the owner/manager sitting at pool everyday on his phone not relaxing and a little off putting for my daughters!!

Danae Suites Santorini is a great hotel for people who prefer the comforts, aesthetics and value for the money. The rooms are super spacious and clean, the stuff are friendly. The famous village Oia is just 15-minute walk ( nice walk) and the hotel is located in an extremely cute village too, where you can experience real culture, since Oia is beautiful but a bit touristy to my taste. The biggest thank you to the hotel general manager, Christos, for making my stay very comfortable.

Beautiful hotel in a great location just a short walk into Oia. Service level is top class and the food and drink options are excellent, there's no need to leave the hotel if you just want to chill and there's a very handy supermarket within a short uphill walk. Staff went above and beyond expectations at every opportunity.

It’s a walking distance to both Finikia (5-10 min walk) and Oia (20-30 min walk). It’s a quiet place with an amazing view. There are couple of restaurants nearby and a mini shop. The place is beautiful, the breakfasts were delicious, the room was the best I can imagine and the staff was more than helpful.

The only minus is the first 30 meters of road from the main street - very narrow. Google Maps sometimes does not show the proper road to the hotel so getting a taxi may be problematic, though we did not have any problems after all. The hotel staff is extremely clear about this and very helpful so we knew exactly what to expect before coming

The staff were soo nice, the rooms were amazing, we rented the private pool suite and had amazing views of the sunset. I recommend booking a ATV or a car for your stay to make your exploration of the island easier, the reception will help with everything.

Its a little outside of town (10min walk to Oia center), but that isnt necessarily bad, u get more prace and quiet.

Amazing location with views out to sea. 10 minutes drive from Oia and 30 mins from the airport. Breakfast was lovely with a variety of egg dishes and amazing pancakes. Staff were second to none especially the bar staff. They couldnt do enough for anyone. Rooms were beautiful and cleaned every day to a high standard. Overall an amazing stay.

Nothing to improve.

We stayed here for 11 nights and had a fantastic experience. The hotel was absolutely beautiful, very clean, with exceptionally friendly staff. The rooms were excellent, and the views from the pool area were stunning. Both the food and service were great. The location was ideal: Finikia town is just a 2-minute uphill walk, and Oia is also within walking distance. We loved everything about this hotel and would definitely recommend it to family and friends. We hope to return again soon!

New property with spacious rooms

Overall attitude of staff . Not very responsive to guests. Villa given to us had construction happening right in front of us . The location is not that great . If you are looking at a place that has the picture postcard view of Santorini this is not it

The bedrooms are big and beautiful, just like the hotel’s exterior and common areas: everything is tidy and elegant. The breakfasts are a dream. Excellent kitchen service, even in the room. The pool area was truly well maintained and had a peaceful atmosphere. At sunset, it felt like paradise. The staff is kind and always available.

The hotel is very new and beautifully designed. Nice pool area. Well designed landscaping. Breakfast was top notch with wide Al Carte options.

Entrance to the hotel through the dirt road was disappointing.

Absolutely loved the staff and attention and care to detail. We were made to feel at home and very welcome! Breakfast included was a bonus and food was brilliant. All our needs were taken care of and I would like to thank all the staff for such a wonderful stay.

I cannot fault this wonderful hotel. It is a taxi ride to Oia in summer when the weather is so hot - its too far to walk!

Drive to the property was a little long but no other complaints.

The location of the property is a bit of a distance from Oia. You need a car to get around comfortably from the property. You have to walk about 20 min to get to Oia and it’s challenging in summer. I would suggest the hotel invest in umbrellas for the rooms to make the walk in the heat bearable. Also, the breakfast can be better and there’s not a lot of options.

Amazing and helpful staff, good breakfast and tidy new rooms. Location is ideal closer to Oia Market/ castle and within few minutes drive to everywhere. All your operators can either pick you from hotel or a nearby location at walking distance. Ample free parking is provided. Highly recommend to book hotel taxi service at least on arrival.

Like all other hotels and accommodations in Santorini, one should have a rental vehicle/buggy/scooter/quad to explore and commute. Entrance to hotel is slightly off from main road, which is mostly a case in Santorini, anyway.

This hotel was amazing! The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The shower was incredible — large and designed in a beautiful Greek style. The staff were super helpful and friendly, always quick to respond. They even messaged me a few days before our arrival to check if we needed anything, which was a thoughtful touch. Housekeeping was great too — the room was cleaned and towels were replaced daily. Breakfast was included and absolutely delicious! There was a great variety of options, and they even changed some of the buffet items daily, which kept things fresh and interesting. The views from the hotel were also stunning, especially at sunset and by the pool — perfect for taking photos. Overall, a fantastic stay!

The only downside for us was the location. You definitely need some form of transportation to get to the hotel, as it’s about a 10-minute drive from the main area of Oia. The closest bus stop is a 20-minute walk away, but the walk is along a road without a proper sidewalk, which can be a bit rough and unsafe.

We truly appreciated the high level of cleanliness and the pleasant atmosphere throughout the hotel. The staff was always kind, full of positive energy, and genuinely eager to help – always with a smile. All the hotel facilities were extremely well maintained, making our stay comfortable, relaxing, and enjoyable. The suite included an excellent jacuzzi, a spacious balcony, and a breathtaking view – a perfect spot to enjoy both sunrise and sunset. Such a delightful place – highly recommended! We’d love to come back again

Areas for Improvement: The suite we received (with a jacuzzi) was beautiful and perfect for a couple – but less suitable for three adults. The additional bed was not as comfortable as the main one and lacked basic privacy for the third person. In addition, the shower has no door – we understand this is part of the suite's design and it does enhance the aesthetic, but when a third adult is staying in the room, it creates some discomfort. Breakfast was also less fitting for us. On one hand, it’s rich and varied, with dishes made to order from a menu – which is great. On the other hand, as a family that enjoys vegetables, salads, and fruits – we felt that this variety was missing. The meal is mostly based on carbohydrates, and didn’t match our dietary preferences.

Definetly not worth it. I wouldn’t recommend it to my friends. You will find better options in the island.

So we arrive to this beautiful hotel. We paid for the cave suite. But we actually extended our stay on the island for a couple days to check this place out. We arrived before the actual check-in time of 2 o’clock we got here around 12. We were granted access to our room, which was extremely nice. We were given a free bottle of white wine and a free bottle of water. The service at the front desk throughout our stay was outstanding. The staff were extremely kind. Theodora And Christian really are valuable members of the team! I felt like i was hanging out with friends when talking them. The infinity pool is top-tier. The water was not too hot or too cold and the view was immaculate from the pool. There were plenty sun-beds available for early July, which left me to be surprised. The location of the hotel is actually great. It’s not that far away from the madness of Oia, yet it’s so relaxing and chill. Inside the room it’s absolutely gorgeous, you really feel like you’re in a cave. The shower has the option of handheld and overhead. The pressure was great. I had hot water throughout the trip. I did not hear my neighbors one bit throughout the stay meaning the walls were thick enough to keep outside noise away.

Transfer to and from the hotel is about 35-Euro minimum whether it will be to another nearby town or to the airport. The television takes time to load up when you turn it on to access the apps /information within the hotel. Breakfast is adequate. They have a selection of items, but the service is not the best at the breakfast location. At the pool, the bar makes spectacular drinks. However, the food menu leaves a lot to be desired as it is not adequate. The hotel should consider opening some type of mini mart as the nearest store is about a 15 minute uphill trek. Which could be quite difficult in the Greek Summers for somebody who is not physically fit or has health problems.

We had the best time here in the honeymoon suite. Exceptional hotel, great views, fantastic breakfast, staff were really helpful. Close to Oia but far enough away to get away from the crowds. Some nice restaurants in the village and a handy supermarket.

The walk into Oia is a bit challenging but still very nice and picturesque.
