Very spacious villa right by the ocean with plenty of room for a family and 3 balconies with ocean views. Very clean and orderly with a homely feel. Nicer than the photos and family run.

Keep in mind the island and this location requires a car

Location was incredible - both the view and how quiet it is - especially after we moved into Ellie apartment when it became available. The view from the terrace is second to none! We had our breakfasts and wonderful lunches looking out over the bay. 2 minutes walk down to the beach (stoney but that keeps the kids away) - which was always very quiet - and the taverna which is one of the best on the island. We often grabbed a Greek Salad from the taverna and then took it up the terrace for lunch.

Ah a welcome pack with essentials - tea, coffee, water, milk, sugar, salt, mosquito repellent etc. That was missing. We are no fan of wet room bathrooms - what to do. Main issue was getting the hot water switched on because solar panel system didn't seem to be working 100%. Not a big problem and sure Yianna will get this sorted.

    Property response:

    Thank you dear Mark

The balconies alone were worth the stay! Stunning views out to the bay (which was literally only 20 meters away), shaded by roofs or orientation so you could stay out there on one of them the whole day if you wanted to. We fell asleep and woke to the sound of the waves, while the cool sea breeze made the heat enjoyable. We once spotted a turtle from the balcony, swimming right below us! The apartment was spacious, well-equipped and nicely decorated and we had a cleaning lady come every single day, changing sheets and towels. The villa is surrounded by olive bays and small farms - very different from your average resort towns. The beach was very close, and although pebbly on entrance, the bay was free from crowds and had a charming, tucked away atmosphere, with clear, turquoise water and some reefs on the sides for snorkeling. You can use the sunbeds for free as a villa resident. Would recommend without hesitation - go for Eli apartment (6 beds) if you can. You won't regret it.

The price of the secluded location is the lack of nearby shops. The closest grocery store was in the village, 15 minutes of walk (although the shop owner arranged rides for us with his husband, we enjoyed the exercise). Same for restaurants - the host has a beach taverna just below, but if you're looking for variety, you need to walk or get a car. The beach entrance is not the best - various sized pebbles and stones might make it difficult to enter the water. The apartment is on the first floor, you need to climb some stairs to get in and out.

    Thank you Milan

Beautiful view to the sea, the apartment has 3 balconies. upstairs there are 2 bedrooms with double beds, 2 more beds in the living room. 100 m from the house is the family restaurant

One large bathroom, the other has a shower, but it is very small.

The view from our room was amazing: everywhere on the island you get to experience incredible sights, but when this is in your very balcony it's something that really adds a lot to the stay. The location was very quiet, with the waves and the crickets chirping the only noticeable and very nice backdrop. The size of the house was perfect for us (family of 3) but would have been perfect also for a family with 2-3 kids. Good WiFi connection, and a very good restaurant on the sea 2 minutes away (owned by the same landlord) complete the picture. Absolutely recommended

    Nothing really.

The location is beautiful, with access through a peaceful green garden down a set of steps to a sandy beach where sunbeds are available. The beach setting is very picturesque, with a view of several large islands and a very small island with a church in the bay itself. The hosts Christos and Maria were friendly and informative and clearly love the area too. We ate in a couple of the village tavernas--they serve fish caught the same day locally. The vibe ( at least in May) is rural, local, friendly.

Maybe one or two extras in the kitchenette, eg an electric kettle and another pan (we like cooking!).

We took the chance to book this villa for Mother's Day weekend at the last minute. We had a car rental, so being 10 miles away from the ferry was no big deal. We entered our destination into our GPS. It incorrectly took us on an unfinished road right through an olive tree field. We were all laughing....wondering what our "villa" would look like. Right before we saw it, our GPS told us our destination was on the right. When we turned right, you could have heard a pin drop. In front of us was a huge brick fortress. We doubted we were in the right place. Since we were almost 2 hours early, we contacted Yianna (the owner), and she gladly gave us the keys early. Our unit was huge. It had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen/living room with a flat screen smart TV. It also had a fully equipped kitchen and a washing machine! The kitchen/living room had a smart TV. WIFI was included and not even listed!. The main bedroom also had a balcony. The beds were ridiculously comfortable!! We were staying on the second floor, so we also had a HUGE balcony overlooking the water by the front door. Every room had a view of the water, olive trees, or gardens. The unit appeared very new. Feel was "European" with vibes of Tuscany. The little touches like the beautiful fine glass lighting and candles put it over the top. Being able to grocery shop and eat breakfast with views of the sea was amazing. Had supper and breakfast downstairs over the water at Yiannas tarvena. Food was excellent. We are already planning a trip back next year!!! Don't let this little wonder pass you by! We were booked for 2 nights and quickly changed our return ferry date to stay one night longer. It completely exceeded our expectations!!! Price was insanely inexpensive!!!

There was not one thing we did not like!

the facilities, the great view, a very spacious place, huge balcony, interior with a lovely artistic 'Provence' touch the lovely taverna down to the beach with delicious food

mosquito net would have helped, you could not stay with an open window/door - and it's such a pity as it has a great view, the villa as a whole is unfinished and it gives you a very 'surprising' sight from the other side of the entrance

Fantastic sea view, huge terrace facing the sea. Large enough apartment for a family if 4, and cleaned every 2-3 days. Convenient beach nearby, and a lovely taverna at the sea front. Quite secluded from the rest of the island - we recommend having / renting a car so you can visit the many nearby beaches
