How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewThe entire area, property and rooms were spotless and tidy. The gardens were manicured and beautiful and then to top that off you gazed up and you are surrounded by giant green mountains. The bus stop that takes u to all destinations and Was directly outside so we had no need for taxis. Walking to beach and restaurants was an easy 5/10 minute walk. The beaches are beautiful - especially the secret beach - far left and far right there is a very cool beach bar and inflatables for kids - but not tacky. and area is gorgeous. The owners and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Felt very welcome and gave good advice when we needed it. My family LOVED the pool. Clean and peaceful. We could t fault this place…. And we are seasoned traveller who puts a lot of research into any trip. This is brilliant value compared to other hotels - which is handy for school holidays.
Find it hard to fault.

Verified reviewLocation is perfect - just a short walk from the beach and from plenty of tavernas and a couple of small supermarkets. The bus stop is right outside the hotel so you don't need to hire a car at all. The garden and swimming pool area are beautifully maintained and the whole village of Neo Klima sits in a beautiful forested cove. The island of Skopelos is lovely - don't come here if you are looking for lots of noise, action, night clubs and water parks - if you want to stay on a beautiful island, with great weather , lovely scenery and beaches and plenty of tavernas - this is the place to be.
Whilst the room itself and the balcony are clean, recently decorated and well presented, the bathroom area, whilst completely functional, is somewhat dated and small. Once you get used to the shower curtain sticking to you and not preventing lots of water going onto the bathroom floor its all fine as the floor drains very quickly and you can actually treat the bathroom as a wet room, The kitchenette area is very basic - so dont be looking to prepare fine dining meals ! For us brits it would be great if a toaster was supplied and perhaps a microwave.

Verified reviewWe had a lovely stay at the Delphi Hotel in Neo Klima. The room was really spacious and comfortable, and it was really nice having a pool view! The location was perfect for us to explore the island of Skopelos – lots of nice beaches nearby and an ideal base to visit the Mamma Mia film locations. Captain Spyros seafood restaurant nearby was fantastic and highly recommended.
The rooms could do with updating, but were still functional. Overall we still had a good time staying at the Delphi Hotel.

Verified reviewThe hotel has a perfect location so if you don't have a car, you can catch a bus to any beaches or to Skopelos Town. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel. (But I suggest you should wave to the bus driver to stop!!!!). The hotel has an amazing garden with a very clean pool. There is even a little bar with delicious frappé . I loved it! The rooms are clean, they are cleaned every day. During our 1-week stay even our towels were changed once. The hotel staff is so kind and helpful . They are cheerful and helped us in everything. If I go back to Néo Klíma, I will stay here again. Thank you very much for everything!!!!!!!!! Ps: The beds are really comfortable!
There wasn't anything I didn't like.

Verified reviewThe hotel is organized as a small resort, there is a pool with the leisure area in the middle, bar with a big terrace and apartments are around it. The area also includes sitting spots under the trees and in the shade and children’s playing part. Everyone in the hotel was super nice, friendly and helpful. We were offered an upgrade for our rooms, which we accepted and it was a very good decision as we got a big apartment with two floors. The hotel is located cca 5 minutes by feet by the beach(es), there is 3 of them very close to the hotel. Right in front of the hotel is a bus stop and the bus can comfortably take you anywhere, for example to the famous Kastani beach, or Milia beach(which we liked more) - both of them are cca 10 minutes by bus. Close to the hotel are many nice local restaurants, shop, pharmacy - everything you might need is in a walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay here and we would definitely come again.
Indoor of the room is a bit old, but it’s nothing which would destroy our enjoying of the stay. TV could use some fixing too :)

Verified reviewWhat a fabulous little hotel! I stayed with my 13 yr old nephew and 23 yr old niece for 4 nights in June and it was a perfect spot for exploring Skopelos. The bus stop is right outside the hotel. Our room with a mezzanine bedroom was a tad tired but very clean and brilliant air con and the pool area is super. Nothing super luxe but great value for money. And Mary (and the rest of the staff there) is wonderful. Would deffo go back! We rented quad bikes from a place down the road, can’t remember the name but Mary will help I’m sure and it was the best thing we did on the island. Also, we only went to the wee taverna opposite the hotel on our last night (unfortunately) and it was outstanding!
The shower could be a bit problematic!

Verified reviewStrategic location near the main beaches, laundry service available at a cost of €15.
I thought a lot before writing this review because I’m usually someone who adapts easily and doesn’t have many demands, but during our stay here there were several things I didn’t like, and I feel it’s only fair to inform those who come after us: First and most serious issue: we were not given the room we had paid for. The photos didn’t match reality. The lady at reception, although polite, invited us to view two rooms: the first one was so small that it was impossible to even sit on the toilet — a room we had never seen in any of the photos. The second one was the room we had actually booked, but we were asked to pay an extra €80 for 5 nights. This shows a lack of professionalism and seems like a trick to cheat customers, especially since the website photos are outdated. I suggest you upload accurate pictures of all the rooms you offer, not just the ones by the pool. Second issue, no less serious: out of the 5 nights we stayed, we were woken up at 7:45 am on three mornings by the cleaning staff dragging furniture, chairs — everything — very loudly while cleaning other rooms. And to top it off, on Saturday morning the gardener started using a chainsaw. The other two nights? Miraculously silent. Were we just unlucky? Considering I’m paying for a service meant for rest and relaxation, I find this unacceptable. The bathroom was old, smelled like sewage, had a broken drain, and the shower curtain allowed water to spill everywhere. Breakfast was not included, and again, there was an extra daily charge. We wanted to speak with the lady who welcomed us, but she wasn’t there when we left. So, using her own words, “in paradise you get lost”, I’d say this was more like purgatory, and there’s a lot of work to be done! Good luck.

Verified reviewI met the most kind owner of the hotel who helped me a lot during my stay at the island. Person who you’d always could come with a problem and find a solution. Such a positive and kind soul. Very grateful for my time there.

Verified reviewIf I could give a 100 to this hotel - I would. It was so good, that even a bit scary :) I went with my family and friends and it is incredible how friendly, helpful and absolutely amazing both the property and people running/working at the property are. Not only the hotel is amazing, but you have everything what you need around the corner. A supermarket, a pharmacy, couple of really good places to eat. The sea is 7 - 8 minutes away by feet. Very happy with our choice!!!
Nothing to say!!!!

Verified reviewDelphi Hotel is excellent value for money. Mary and her team go above and beyond to make a great stay. As I stayed early in the summer season I got a room up-grade. My room was freshly painted and had new furnishings. Lovely fresh cotton sheets, spotlessly clean, really comfortable bed, sea & pool view. Basic, but everything you need for a great holiday. The swimming pool is fantastic. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel which makes for easy travel. I think that the Delphi is the best value accommodation on the Island!
Nothing - all good.
