Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe beds could have been more comfortable and accommodating.
We did not have time to eat the breakfast. It looked great with fresh seasonal fruit like figs and watermelon and the food being served. We had a late lunch and dinner there. The food was simple but well cooked and seasoned. The view was wonderful overlooking a small sandy beach with small rocky cliffs. Our room faced the east which we observed a beautiful sunrise. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The air conditioner worked very well. The hotel is dated and a little bit out of the way. We knew this when we booked it. But well worth the views and relaxed environment. Looked like a family run business.

AustriaThe vibe is abit old fashioned 80s. The rooms are clean yet with basic amenities. There is a need for renewal for certain items such as doors and air conditioning.
The place has wonderful views to the bay, with all rooms having a nice balcony. Good value for money

HungaryIt was not easy to find the place. Unfortunately it was very windy at those days we stayed there. The beach is next to the hotel, but to reach the best beach nearby takes a 3 minute trip by car
The location is perfect. The host was very friendly. The kitchen is very good!

United StatesIt is an older hotel, and the rooms are clean and well appointed but not luxurious, and bathrooms are a bit small, so go elsewhere if you want something fancy.
Great location, nice hotel, lovely people all around. Restaurant/bar with great view out over the water (like being on a ship) with long hours and tasty food. Seemed very family- friendly and had a calm and carefree vibe. Perfect for the night before 24 hours of travel, with easy drive to ATH in the morning, which was what I most needed.

United KingdomWe had a truly profound and positive experience at this hotel. Everything was excellent – from the service to the atmosphere. Highly recommended!
The restaurant's manager and owner were extremely polite and amazing! Very helpful with information. Ready to help us at any time. Daskalio hotel is very close to my heart! Will return for a short vacation in October and next year April for my annivesary! The view is spectacular. Closer to Bule Tequose Seaside, very romantic and peaceful. The food was another highlight – the stuffed tomatoes and peppers with Greek salad were absolutely amazing, and the fish was the best I’ve ever had in my life, with very cheap price!

CanadaIt been a few weeks that we are back home and I finally get to write this review. This hotel was a surprise for us. As it was last night before leaving Greece from Athens airport we booked something near airport but by the beach. Didn't expect much from 2* resort. Hotel is outdated but very clean and authentic. It is located in a remote location with nothing nearby. Surrounded by gorgeous views. Room was comfortable for 2 adults and 2 kids. Very clean with stunning view, good internet. BUT the most enjoyable part was the restaurant. It works almost all day with short break. The owner of the hotel runs the place and cook for the guests. He comes out and asks what you want to eat. Forget the menu, he will tell you what he has at the kitchen with all the yummy details how he cooks the dish for you and what ingredients he uses. Theodore (the gentleman's name, that means the God's gift. And he was real gift to us) shows as the authentic Greek cousine and was so passionate about what he is doing. Surrounded by beautiful views having great Greek wine (they let you try all before you order), talking to Theodore (he has interesting life. Traveling and sometimes working as a chef in Italy, France,New York ) Was amazing experience. The service is kind of slow (family runs it), but you are in Greece:) and the good thing that I saw locals coming to the kitchen and grabbed the drinks themselves:) The beach was not that nice. We ended up using the rocky entrance on the side, there were stairs to the water. Kids did snorkeling as the water is very clear and warmer . A lot of little fish. (we were traveling in the different islands, so the water was much warmer then on the islands) When we will come back to Greece we would make a point on staying one more night there. It is a perfect place to spend one night or two nights.

UkraineThe bottom in a beach is a bit rocky and might have sea hedgehocks. Don't walk in a sea, swim!
1. Frontline of a sea. Clear water pure nature around. 2. The staff greet us simply, but with the warm hearted attitude, trying to make you feel home. As the hotel is not big and without "many stars" the wibe of easy day at the countryside gives a feel of rest. 3. The amentities are very basic, but all works perfectly amd done properly. It is old facioned but very good quality from the beginning. 4. Calm, not too busy place. 5. Breakfasts, restorant from lunch to a night on a site. Reasonable prices and simple but satisfying menu. Food was about the same tasty as we make it at home. Lovely.
