We spent a wonderful summer week at this charming traditional mountain hotel, which is truly a hidden gem. The peaceful surroundings and heartfelt hospitality made our stay unforgettable. The hotel’s prime location offers a balcony with breathtaking views of the stunning blue waters of Mylopotamos Beach, just a few minutes drive away. Each morning, we enjoyed a delicious home-cooked breakfast that added a special touch of warmth and genuine care. The wonderful hosts welcomed us with heartfelt hospitality, making us feel more like old friends than guests, feeling like home away from home.

Wonderful! We really enjoyed our stay in Tsagkarada. Hosts were so welcoming and friendly, upgraded our room for us and provided juice, snacks and toasts. Helped us find our way around the area and gave us helpful advice. Hotel is charming, it has a unique style like the rest of Pelion and a gorgeous view towards the ocean. One of my favourite places in Greece. Thanks again

The hotel is situated at the top of the beautiful Tsagkarada village, at a pleasant distance from the village centre, overlooking the side of the mountain and the open sea. The view is breathtaking, and you can wake up in the morning to the sun rising from the open sea. The hotel is a restructured classic old village house/villa and is filled with household items from a bygone era as decor, and modern quality of life utilities, making a very pleasant blend of rustic authenticity and comfort. The family that runs the hotel are wonderful hosts and will make you feel more like a long lost friend than a guest.

The host where great, friendly and helpful !!! They had a cancellation so they upgraded our room to one with a balcony, which was really amazing. And the view was really great!! Our room was beautifull and spotless, the bathroom had a " clean " smell which we loved! We also loved the little things that we found in our room, like the mini body lotion, the period pads and much more. We found it really thoughtful! The breakfast was also great and so much that we didn't manage to finish all of it none of the 3 days we were there. Also some of the stuff was homemade, which is always a bonus! The hotel is a great value for money option. All in all we had an amazing stay!!!

It's an old traditional stone house equipped with modern amenities and so many small things which you may need. The view, not just from the terrace, from every corner of the room is breathtaking. Cleanliness on the highest level, changing towels and sheets every day. Parking in the hotel yard. Just a few minutes with car from famous Mylopotamos beach and the square of the picturesque village Tsagkarada. And finally the owners, Chrissa and her family, there is no words that can explain their hospitality, always smiling, helpful, kind and ready to help. Thank you for everything, hope to see you again.

    Nothing to don't like.

I really like the behaviour of the owner, she was very welcoming. She even gave us lift from the Fakistra after we hiked and got tired and also she gave a ride to the bus stop when we were going back.

    There's nothing I didn't like

Very kind and welcoming owners....they were really nice and helpful people always with a smile 💕 We had our room upgraded to a suite which was awesome! The view from the balcony was to die for😍 The breakfast was very tasty and it was plenty for both of us! The homemade ice cream with sour cherry syrup on top of a brioche was super tasty 🤤 The room was equipped with everything you need for your stay!!! The bed was very cute with such a romantic decoration and of course with comfortable mattress and pillows!!

I need an 11 to rate this hotel because 10 is not enough!! Everything was superb 💕

We had such a wonderful stay at Diogenis hotel. Incredibly friendly hosts who went out of their way to give us information about the region and recommended activities and places to eat. The room was very cozy and spacious with a beautiful balcony, and had all the possible extras you would imagine. Would very highly recommend Diogenis hotel for a relaxing and comfortable stay in Tsagkarada.

Barely ever had such a pleasant stay in a hotel. Chrysa went above and beyond to make the most of my trip. The rooms were cleaned daily and there will little snacks, jams etc supplied. The house itself has a lot of character, just like the owners. The opposite of a cold and sterile, anonymous hotel chain. In my opinion, value for money is unbeatable.

Everything was amazing, from the warm and helpful staff to the thoughtful extras that made our stay feel truly special. We were welcomed with a variety o, cookies, fresh bread with homemade honey and jams, a small bottle of liquor, and even a delicious chocolate dessert waiting for us in the fridge. Also a variety of toiletries and bathrobes.

Wi-Fi is not great but it’s good enough. The shower curtain needs to be properly secured before use and prevent water spill onto the floor.
