The rooms could use a refresh as they seem a little dated but overall it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The Divani Hotel was the perfect base for exploring Athens. The hotel was spotless, and the staff kept everything exceptionally clean. Best of all, the rooftop pool offers amazing views of the city and is a great place to unwind. Highly recommend!

The pool was nice however you could not swim in it as the water was way too cold. The pool is not heated and the kids could not get in. Also there wasnt enough sun beds for the size of the hotel. The pool area should be extended. Very over crowded during the day. Very expensive food and drinks at the pool. 9€for a small draft beer and 12€ for some grapes and strawberries.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Room service was great. Bathrooms were large and clean. Facilities were nice. Location was close to cafes and taverns aswell as 5min walk to the train station.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Divani Caravel Hotel in Athens, and I can honestly say the experience was exceptional from start to finish. Even before my arrival, the hotel left me impressed. I had mistakenly booked the wrong dates, and the staff kindly corrected my reservation without any additional charge. That level of flexibility and kindness already set the tone for a memorable stay. When I arrived early in the morning, the team went above and beyond to accommodate me. By 11 a.m., they had not only found me a room but also upgraded me at no extra cost. Walking into the room was a delight—it was spacious, beautifully prepared, and to my surprise, an ice bucket with a bottle of my favorite mastic liqueur was waiting for me. It felt as though they had anticipated my taste and welcomed me in the most personal way. Throughout my stay, the service was consistently outstanding. I enjoyed a delicious business lunch where the Caesar salad stood out for its freshness and perfect preparation, served with genuine warmth by a very attentive waitress. Later that evening, I went up to the rooftop bar, which offers stunning views of Athens. The staff once again exceeded expectations, keeping the bar open later just so I could enjoy a relaxing drink after a long day. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare and truly appreciated. The following morning, the breakfast buffet was equally impressive, offering a wide variety of high-quality choices. I didn’t feel the need for extras—the spread was more than enough to start the day right. In short, everything—the location, the facilities, the atmosphere, and above all, the staff—was exceptional. Having not stayed at the Divani Caravel for some years, I was thrilled to rediscover it. This hotel is a true ambassador for Greek hospitality, and I am already looking forward to returning. Well done to the entire team—a fabulous experience from beginning to end!

Everything was perfect again. We even got a complementary massage in the Spa, which was great after our trip. We had breakfast at the restaurant, amazing choice and quality of food ! We will definitely come back again. !

We chose the hotel as it had a swimming pool. However, the swimming pool is right next to the roof top bar, and we were unable to find a seat and belt too overlooked to swim. The pool does have a view of the Acropolis which is a bonus!

Our room AC had a bit of trouble cooling the room to our liking but it was also very warm outside. Pretty good for what you get in Europe.

Clean hotel, friendly staff. I had no trouble interacting as everyone spoke English which was something I was worried about. Elevators are slow and small but that's normal for Europe. Fabulous rooftop bar and pool. Great view of the acropolis

Having a shower over the bath as I'm older and slipped couple.timws.getting.in and out. They are refurbishing the rooms for walk in.

On arrival there was confusion about my stay. The hotel staff were great sorting out all the problems and apologised when it wasn't their fault. Thank you and great breakfast

We asked at the hotel for directions to go to a supermarket it was a Sunday and we discovered that all were closed. The hotel has dining service but it is expensive.

The rooms were comfortable and we were able to contact room service for additional requests. The breakfast was varied and we were able to request breakfast boxes for our last day,

Asked the bartender at the pool if I could charge a drink to my room. His response was no. I only asked because I had left my credit card in the room and didn’t want to go back downstairs. It was inconvenient that’s all.
