Simple styled room, clean and bright. OK for a 2 day stay.. Easy access to port, restaurants and what Hydra had to offer. Rooftop breakfast was delightful. Friendly staff.

Room was tight. No bathroom privacy. High price.

Great location and a large room with high ceilings 2 French doors onto a small balcony.

Lovely characterful Guesthouse in a brilliant location for the ferry and for Hydra Old Town. I loved the balcony overlooking the cathedral and the harbour. Comfy bed. The room had a little bit of luxury about its decor. The breakfast on the roof terrace at sister hotel, Douskos Port House was a fantastic start to the day. The view is beautiful!

As it is an old property, there are lots of stairs, and no lift, which may be problematic for people with mobility issues or large luggage. My bathroom window didn't have a blind.

Location was very convenient , steps from the cafes at the port. Nice renovated outlook and cute balcony with a view. Great breakfast with very friendly staff there and awesome views of the port.

For €250 per night after mid August the room was lacking some basic things like hair dryer and iron. The Monastery’s bells are going off since 6 am every hour, you cannot relax with that. SUPER noisy room, you could hear everything from the trash collection to the locals or drunk people coming back at 5 am. The property should invest in better noise cancellation if they want to charge prices such that.

It is was amazing

Nothing. I had to add one night to my stay in Hydra (because of Air Canada) and it was the only place available. No cheap, but amazing.

The staff was very kind, the location amazing and the property was in very good condition. Value for money, totally recommended.

Great location, right by the port. Angeliki was extremely nice and helpful with giving us directions and tips on what to do on Hydra. The included breakfast was lovely and served on a fantastic terrace a short walk from the accommodation.

Unfortunately our aircon stopped working in the middle of the night, which made the sleep uncomfortable.

Bathroom is quite tight. I'd bring your own toilet paper as very rough.

The front facing room was great, but the bedroom remained very hot through the night despite the a/c.

The upstairs bed will be an issue for older people that are not that mobile. Quite a few wall fixtures coming loose.

This is not a 200 euros per night stay. They put us in a work in progress residence, with dirty premises and construction workers. The wifi was not working and neither did the signal, meaning we could not even communicate with our family during our stay (let alone work there). We were really disappointed by this stay unfortunately, largely because of the price. It's not worth it unfortunately.

It was clean

They own numerous properties on the island. Even though we booked Douskos "Guesthouse" - they placed us in another of their residences. We booked a "mountain view" room - "view" is a stretch - more like "glimpse" - would be a better word.

Everything was perfect. The staff is very friendly they give us a list of things to do and is really helpfull. The room is clean and good decorated.

The internet is very slow.

The property is very centrally located and easy to get to. The staff was very helpful to check us in. The rooms had powerful AC, which was helpful for July Hydra heat. We had the breakfast every morning and appreciated the kindness and hospitality of the staff.

Bed was a little uncomfortable and the bathroom cramped. Other than that, well appointed simple rooms and powerful air conditioning!
