Fantastic host

The location is very good, convenient to visit the island and rent a car or bus transportation. The owner of Electra suits is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. I would recommend that place!

In April almost all is closed, very little choice of restaurants or bars. Main season is July through August

The size of the 3 beds room (reservation for 3 adults) was a bit small, however it had all the needed comfort.

Basically everything, it is extremely clean, hosts are kind and helpful, a lot attention paidto the right details (bathroom, towels/ sheets, room comfort), breakfast is top and the location is very convenient.

Nothing to not like

I really enjoyed staying at Electra Suites on my recent trip to Samothraki! I only got to stay for two nights but will definitely go back next time I visit the island. Stelios is a generous host and went above and beyond to make sure I had a good trip– in fact, on my first day, he actually drove me around the island himself so that I could visit the Sanctuary of the Great Gods and Chora! Even with the language barrier, we had a pleasant time conversing via Google Translate. The other staff at the hotel were friendly and made me feel at home. Overall, a lovely group of people to spend a long weekend with. I value peace & quiet when I travel, and so I appreciated staying somewhere without street traffic or restaurant sounds that was still close to the amenities. Stelios recommended a taverna with good food about a five minute walk from the restaurant, and I went back there several times. The name was Sta Kala Kathoumena and the walk takes you through the church's courtyard. If you can, I do recommend renting a car or a motorbike to get around the island– I came during the off-season and didn't realize how limited the public transit options were. I appreciated Stelios taking the time to drive me around, but I also knew he was busy running the hotel! The taxi stand on the waterfront is an easy walk- bring cash. I also spotted a scooter rental on the main drag. I have trouble sleeping, and felt very safe walking around Kamariotissa at night while trying to settle my thoughts. Stay aware of your surroundings and carry a flashlight for visibility, as there are few sidewalks in the side streets and you'll want to quickly get out of the way when people are driving through. Wherever you are in the village, you'll be able to see Mt. Saos or the sea. Rooms: The rooms were very clean, comfortable and modern. Amazing hotel, great breakfast, fast wifi, gracious and helpful owner

Breakfast was excellent. Bed was excellent.

My stay at the hotel was one of the many pleasant surprises during my visit in Samothraki. A new establishment, everything in the room was new, ergonomic, very well thought of. The breakfast was top range, fresh orange juice and exceptional espresso ( I found out that the owner is a coffee aficionado, as I am!). I was unlucky that my visit coincided with wild fires in mainland that led to 2 days blackout in the island. The owner made sure we had lanterns to go about and keep guests safe. All staff did everything humanly possible to satisfy all my requests, they even assisted me in finding the right place to fix a flat tyre! Rooms are spacey and ergonomic, I can’t recommend enough ELECTRA SUITES , I will certainly visit again. Highly recommended, don’t bother to look anywhere else!
