How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Verified reviewThe location is a 15-minute walk from the Old Town. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly, they are happy to help with even the smallest requests. Rooms with balconies overlook the sea from both the right and left, and you can watch the sunset.
The elevator is small, you may have to wait a while on the way up. The rooms and bathroom are small, and the sink is located outside the bathroom. It may be uncomfortable for long-term stays.

Verified reviewThe staff members were excellent from the receptionists to the waiter and all of them dressed well with excellent appearance.
The lift was small and needed to wait for it to come empty in order to use it. Also they didnt change the towels every day which I believe is a must. The bathroom window let light come to the room and that was a bit uncomfortable if you want to sleep.

Verified reviewThe suite was amazing! Beautiful. The balcony was lovely with beds and furniture. We loved the wine in the room as a nice touch and the plants.
We thought we wouldn’t like the lack of swimming pool however we made use a few metres away of the casino swimming pool which was free to use with drinks

Verified reviewThe room was clean and the location is very central and convenient. Breakfast had a good variety.
The 4-star ranking is slightly surprising, considering the bathroom being small, with a shower curtain, without a mirror and sink. Sink was placed in the bedroom. The noise isolation was poor, since the door to the room had a gap from the floor. We asked to be notified when the room was ready for check in, but did not receive any notification, although the room was ready earlier than expected.

Verified reviewThe room was small but nice. Breakfast was very good, with a wide selection of food.
The bathroom was tiny. The shower was only separated from the toilet by a curtain, so the floor stayed wet after showering if we wanted to use the toilet later. And we didn’t like that.

We booked a double room and a triple room. I arranged these rooms for me and my friends. My friends visited Rhodes for the first time however I have visited Rhodes for last 10 years, twice a year. So I arranged your hotel for us. However a double room (room 601) was a nightmare! The sink is outside of the toilet. Toilet and shower area is soooooooooo tiny. Really really tiny. My friend is a skinny lady , she could hardly fit in. I am a chubby lady and i wouldnt fit in there. As soon as my friend with her 10 years old son checked in; noticed that the room was smelling sewer extremely heavy. She went to the reception and reported the situation. However the lady at the reception informed us that the hotel is fully booked so we couldnt say anything. Unfortunately my friend and her son couldnt sleep all night because of the smell. It was that heavy... Imagine that this is hapenning on your holiday at your first night. Next morning my friend went to the reception of course she was very angry and discussed with the lady at the reception. Even the room maid agreed and apologised from my friend and she said that she would not stay in that room even for an hour. And the room maid even reported this at the reception with my friend. The receptionist apologised from my friend after the maid defended my friend. And at 08.30 am they changed her room! How come they could change her room at early morning while they were telling that the hotel was full just few hours before??????? This was not acceptable. Why would she need to argue and discuss to get a new room?!? This was really unbelievable. To sum up; the location, Cleanliness, breakfast were really satisfying. However the blonde lady at the reception was not helpful at all due to her lack of problem sloving skills. She has to be trained. Unexpected situations can always happen; we can surely understand this. However these situations should be managed nicely. Definetely not like this.
