Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

A bit noisy at night due to car park and people staying at the hotel. Air condition of the room was not working properly, kettle of the room is not usable due to white things inside the ground...
Location is at the best place of Pithagorion, staff is friendly and helpful. A bit noisy at night because of the car park.

A lot of noise from nearby stores and street which made it difficult to sleep. The bathroom could use some improvements like the sink and shower area. A rather small room. No TV.
Awesome location in Pythagoreio with easy access to the stores. Super friendly owner that gave us excellent tips for places to visit and restaurants to get amazing food. Nice balcony with a view of the main street.

The backyard balcony is rather lousy, overviewing a parking lot. Overall a somewhat outdated and worn-down place with several flaws.
Great location with access to beaches and restaurants. Spacious room with a fridge. Nice balcony in the front, overviewing the main street, and with both morning and evening sun. Cleaning every second day.

The bathroom could use a little updating. It didn't bother me though since I was only there for a night and the price was great!

In both rooms I stayed in the freezer compartment of the fridge very badly needs defrosting as it was so full of ice there was little space for anything
The rooms were light and airy and the beds were comfortable. It is perfectly situated on the main street, directly opposite the taxi rank. The owners mother who checked us in was a really delightful lady.

My room was on the back side: facing ugly parking area and soaking in the sun all day. AC is weak. It makes sense to invest more and book a room with a balcony facing the pedestrian street. Check the kettle: mine was in with stuff inside. I found my room a bit pricey for one person.
I enjoyed sitting on a bench in front of the hotel and watching people pass by. Friendly staff.

Because it is so central, there are bars and restaurants around that result in noise. It is not very bad but it can be annoying depending on what you need. I stayed only for 1 night so for me it was not a big issue. :)
The hotel is on the main pedestrian street of Pythagoreio, so it is really well located and easy to find. A taxi ride to the airport is less than 5 minutes which makes it super convenient.

Property was in need of upgrade. The air conditioner had a plastic coat hanger keeping it open(however it did work quite well). The beds were hard. The balcony furniture needs replacing. I sat on one of the plastic chairs and after a short time it disintegrated into hundreds of pieces causing me to fall backwards and hit my head. Luckily I was okay. Tried to complain but no one understood English.
The room was spacious. It was very clean. Balcony was also spacious. Shower was quite good and internet was very good. Separate internet for each floor. The view from the balcony was good if you looked beyond the car park below, there was the castle and views of the mountains

Nothing it was perfect for a short stay base
Location was perfect, right in the middle of Pythagoria. Surprisingly quiet on what is a very busy street. Taxi rank directly opposite location, very useful! Simple neat little property, everything within 5 minute walk including shops, restaurants and beach. Friendly owners.
