The only improvement we could think of was a few more umbrellas/shade around the pool and on balconies.

We absolutely loved our stay - the whole team at the Elounda Garden Suites were so incredibly friendly and helpful. There are only 20 or so rooms so it has a small feel to it and a really friendly atmosphere around the pool where the snack bar is. At peak time there were always sun loungers available. Our room was a great size with a small kitchenette which was exactly what we wanted, and a big balcony. It was cleaned everyday if we wanted so it was always lovely and clean. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from all the restaurants and the beach so it's a perfect location. We also hired a car for a few days and were able to park it in the spaces behind the hotel for free, although there was also free parking close by if we hadn't been able to.

We arrived quite late, but were warm welcomed with a drink for the kids and a glass of wine. The whole staff is so helpfull and friendly! I was so happy when they helped me to open my suitcase when the lock was jammed. The pool area is very cozy and comfortable with enough sunbeds in the shade. The location is perfect! Less than 5 minutes walk to the beach and Elounda square with cafés and restaurants.

The pool was a little too salty, and the pool walls were coming apart and it just looked a little run down. The one other thing is breakfast, we would say 18 euro for breakfast everyday is a little expensive, and we would have liked some smaller, lighter and cheaper options rather than having to pay €18 for the whole breakfast options which we wouldn’t have eaten.

We loved everything about the property, It felt as though we were not just a number in a hotel - it was personal, friendly and welcoming. The staff were wonderful and always up for a chat! The atmosphere just felt relaxed and friendly from start to finish. The place was clean, well kept, and comfortable, and the beer was a great positive round the pool.

very welcoming,we spent just 1 night here as we had a package holiday in a different hotel for 2 weeks and just wanted to see a different part of the island with an overnight stay.Bottle of wine and fruit left for us in our room on arrival,plus a welcome drink and we even were given a gift on departure.

Nothing could have been better

Perfect location to wander down to the beach /harbour. Lovely reception team, made us feel very welcome. We didn’t use the pool/bar area as our room was across the road, I think due to it being a larger 2 bed room, but ample outside space around our room with sun loungers and seating area.

All the staff were very friendly. Apartment, pool and bar area all very clean. 2 minutes walk to the centre of Elounda, the harbour and bars and restaurants. Great Air Con, living area and also bedroom.

Excellent facilities, rooms very spacious and cleaned daily. Supply of tea & coffee. Welcome bottle of wine and water with fresh fruit on arrival. Very friendly staff in all areas. Food delicious and generous portions. Request for ground floor rooms not a problem and 2 rooms close together. Pool clean with luxurious sunbeds. Short walk to the beach and central area with plenty of choice for restaurants and shops

We didn’t cook much but we needed a colander for the pasta! Also the coffee at breakfast and the bar is not good - a proper machine would be amazing!

The pool area is lovely and so near to your room. The staff were so kind and helpful and the cleaning was excellent. The location was perfect!

Only negative was the pool was rather cold and didn't feel heated, but was fine once you were in.

The apartment was clean and in good condition. I would not like to try and cook a complicated meal but there was everything you needed to make breakfast and snacks. The location was great, just a short work to the main area of resort restaurants and shops. Pool area was nice, good quality sunbeds. There was not a massive number of beds, but it was nice when we were there people were not hanging onto them when they were not using them so generally just about enough, and there were always some standard ones available.
