Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SpainAmazing place to enjoy your holidays. Really quiet and cozy location, got an upgrade to a junior suite and it was a dream. The pool area is very curated and the sushi and cocktails are on point. But let me tell you about the best part: the staff. Always nice and very attentive to detail. Special thanks to Flora for being so helpful with our requests.

NetherlandsDining Breakfast and dinner were included in our stay, but unfortunately, this was the weakest part of the experience. The breakfast lacked variety, and the dinner options were disappointing in terms of taste and quality. Surprisingly, the desserts in the evening were often better than the main dishes. While this did not ruin our holiday, it is an area where the hotel could improve significantly. We only ate at the hotel the first day. The rest of the week we had breakfast/lunch and diner close to the hotel.
I stayed at this hotel for about a week. Before arriving, I had read a mix of reviews online—some very positive, others more critical—so I was not entirely sure what to expect. However, our experience turned out to be excellent overall, and I would like to highlight several aspects of our stay. The Hotel & Location The hotel is beautifully situated on a hillside. The higher your room is located, the more uphill you need to go. Fortunately, the hotel provides golf carts with staff available 24/7 to drive guests up and down. From the moment we parked our car, staff members were there to assist us and bring us to the reception with our luggage. After check-in, we were also driven directly to our room. This service was outstanding. Check-in & Room We arrived late in the evening, but the hotel had thoughtfully prepared some food for us, knowing about our late flight. The room was very comfortable and well-equipped, including both air conditioning and a ceiling fan. Since we prefer not to use air conditioning too much, the ceiling fan was ideal. Housekeeping was excellent, providing fresh towels daily and cleaning the room twice a day—once in the morning and once later in the afternoon. Staff & Service The staff deserves special recognition. Everyone we interacted with—from reception to security, from the breakfast team to the pool staff, and even the golf cart drivers—was exceptionally friendly, respectful, and always smiling. Importantly, their attitude felt genuine and authentic, not forced. In my opinion, the staff truly made our stay memorable and deserve a score of 10 out of 10. Pools & Atmosphere The hotel offers several pools, all clean and well-maintained. A big plus was the availability of sunbeds—there were always enough for everyone, which avoided the stress of having to “reserve” a spot early in the morning. The overall atmosphere around the pool was very relaxing, with perfectly chosen lounge music at just the right volume.

The hotel is beautiful, we had a great stay and also received a room upgrade on arrival which was a lovely bonus.

IsraelThe food in the hotel restaurant can be made more expensive and tasty to align it to the luxury of the hotel
We had an unforgettable stay at this incredible resort in Crete. The view was absolutely breathtaking with a stunning panoramic view of the sea that made every moment feel magical. We were generously upgraded to a room with a private pool, which added so much comfort, privacy, and luxury to our experience. The atmosphere was calm, intimate, and perfect for relaxing. Every detail was thoughtfully designed to create a sense of peace and exclusivity. The staff were outstanding — always kind, professional, and attentive. The level of service we received truly made us feel welcomed and taken care of throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for beauty, tranquility, and top-tier hospitality in Crete. We'd return in a heartbeat!

United KingdomAreas of improvement: - upon checkout, the final bill (total charges to your room while you've been staying here) adds tax on top of the displayed prices. Which was a nasty sting of a surprise. Going forward, ticket / menu prices should be inclusive of tax ( i.e. prices should be the actual prices..) so guests dont have 100's of extra euros sprung on them at checkout. Potential to leave a bitter taste in your mouth, right at the end, after a lovely stay. - Unclear and incorrect allergen / ingredient labels in the restaurant. Dishes that were clearly lactose-free, stating that there was lactose in there. And the boldly advertised "vegan cake" for breakfast having its sign say it has milk and eggs, contradictory and confusing. I must say the Chefs were always available to clarify/show me the vegan options but they need to take the matter seriously for people with severe allergies! - Pricing can be a bit weird and inconsistent, I.e mocktail / virgin cocktails are the same price as alcoholic versions. And a vodka orange juice will cost you 50% of the price of a vodka lime soda. Quite odd. Overall, I agree with other guests saying it doesn’t have a 5 star feel. But I kind of appreciate it was more ‘chill’ and less pretentious
Pros: - Staff amazing, definitely gems in the crown of the hotel. All staff are very good, but we can give a special shout to Flora, Lucy, Marios, Joanna, Elizabeth, Aialena, Gabriela, Vasilis and the incredible cleaner butterfly who we loved dearly!! She is a bundle of joy. - Beautiful setting, beautiful pool area - Clean rooms, clean hotel - Beautiful jacuzzi for chilled evenings. - Modern rooms and an extremely comfy bed. - Nice food, lots of variety, stayed here for 2 weeks and didn't get bored due to variation and changes in dishes. Chefs were available to accommodate dietary requirements (I was vegan and there were always options) - the last day they allowed us to use the pool area after the check out (we had a late night flight). Moreover, they gave us a room to shower and refresh after the pool day. This was definitely something very kind from them!

IsraelIf we had to point out something we liked less, it would be the dinner food. But this didn’t take away from our enjoyment of the hotel, and there are plenty of restaurants in the nearby village.
A brand-new, high-standard hotel. We received an upgrade to a stunning suite. Wonderful infinity pools and a very attentive staff. We enjoyed it very much.

NetherlandsMissies things that one would expect from a 5* such as: properly equipped gym, access to a beach (there is no beach at which hotel has access or sunbeds, even though it is in front of the beach), saunas within the spa, general activities (I.e. dancing, live music, games, table tennis, etc). They should do the movie night everynight. No sports activities to play (I.e tennis, table tennis, paddle, etc). It is a bit boring to just stay at the resort even though this is what it seems to be intended with the style. Also not recommended to take dinner included. Dinner is disappointing.
Swimming pool area is nice, resort is overall nice to spend a few days. Sushi at the pool was very good. They had a very nice activity which is outdoor movie night with popcorn under the dark sky. Was super nice but only 1/week. We were lucky to even catch it

FranceWe would have loved a great fine restaurant inside the hotel, the breakfast is very nice, but not so much the dinner restaurant. Also, it was not an issue for us, but the road to the rooms is steep, for elderly people, that could be an issue, but the staff is always there to help you and take you to your room with golf carts if needed. Don't hesitate to ask them.
It's a great hotel, the pool is amazingly beautiful, very nice view to chill before heading to the great beaches around the area, like Kolotika beach! The staff is amazing too, very helpful and always there for you if needed. We've had a great stay there!

United KingdomIt would be good if bottled water was included within the price. Only other recommendation would be that the tables need numbers, your order for the omelettes can get lost! Getting a taxi can be a bit of a pain, you order one at reception (as do a few other guests), then there is a bit of confusion for who's taxi is who's - and when its hot, you dont want to wait for too long!
The breakfast and dinner were great, very good range and choice. Staff are super friendly and helpful. The room was great, air conditioning and TV worked perfectly, really clean. The pool facilities were great, which makes up for no private beach access.

IsraelIt didn’t really feel like a resort- besides the pool, there wasn’t much to do. We had half board, but both breakfast and dinner were far from 5-star quality, maybe closer to 3. Breakfast service was slow with a poor, limited selection, and dinner wasn’t to our taste at all. They also advertised another restaurant for an extra cost, but it was empty when we visited. Maybe it’s because the place is new, but they shouldn’t offer something that’s not even operating
It’s a new hotel with beautiful design, a lovely pool, and a nice room

CyprusNot very diverse buffet, pretty modest set of dishes. Even still water is payable. The lack of activities. For example, spa is mentioned to be included to stay, however, it's just a massage service for an additional cost. Slow staff near the pool bar. No one pays attention if you call from your sunbed to make an order. Why do you need call buttons though? Prepared cocktails waited stayed on bar for 10-15 mins with melting ice. REALLY annoying wasp and bees on the terrace and the food zone, you can't eat normally, they are everywhere in the food and your glasses

United KingdomThe buffet experience wasn't bad, but could be improved - I'd prefer a drinks station at breakfast to pour your own juice. The food, especially at dinner, wasn't particularly Greek in nature and didn't vary massively over the week. It was fine but certainly not a highlight. The walk to town, especially in summer is a bit of a slog so just be aware of that before thinking you can quickly pop to the shops - I'd probably hire a car if I came again to explore more.
We were upgraded to a Suite with Sea View and Private Pool which was really nice - I'd really recommend this option. Rooms have both air con and a fan which is welcome in the heat, the usual iron/hairdryer etc and a great shower. The main pool area is really nice, 5 pools clustered together of varying sizes. There was never a trouble for sunbeds no matter when turning up to the pool which adds to the relaxed atmosphere. There was also a nice outside gym area, not a ton of equipment but enough for a holiday.
