The bathroom in our room had only a partial glass in the shower, causing a flood every time we were trying to take a shower!

Proximity to the beach, extremely comfortable (free) chairs, very clean room, access to a couple of restaurants, overall great customer service, especially from Manos (manager), Assimina (guest service) and Athina (breakfast helper). Will definitely consider this hotel again!

We had a very comfortable and spacious bedroom with a fantastic sea view. Many thanks to Vagia who made this possible. The property is very well maintained and has plenty of comfortable seating and beds around the pool area. The beach is just across the road and also has very comfortable sun beds which are free, with waiter service to the beach all day. The food choice for breakfast, snacks and dinner was excellent.

Our balcony was very small but we didn't spend much time on it anyway.

On our arrival we were upgraded to a duplex junior apartment with a partial sea view. After dropping off our bags we headed down to the restaurant on the beach for a welcome drink. During our stay we experienced nothing but outstanding hospitality from every single member of staff who work tirelessly throughout the day to make sure everyone having a great time. Most days we're spent on the beautiful beach with Yiannis taking our drinks orders and bringing to our loungers. The area has a couple of restaurants so for more variety you would need to head into Agios Nikolaos which costs €10 each way. Left the hotel feeling totally relaxed and pleased with no our choice to stay here for 4 nights before moving on to another part of the island. If you want total relaxation right on the beach, then this is the place for you.

Everything was perfect

Everything was great. From the location, breakfast, facilities, the staff who was always smiley and helpful, there is nothing to complain about. Ammoudara is a small and quiet costal village, but the beach is clean and if you're looking for a peace and quiet it's just perfect. If you want a bit more action, Agios Nikolaos is 10 min away by car / bus. Faedra was just a great experience for us. I cannot recommend it enough. Looking forward to come back. :)

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It's a real pleasure to deal with them. The facility is kept crystal clean. Twenty meters away from the sandy beach. The sea is a paradise. The place is small but beautiful. A gem.

Mattress was very hard and uncomfortable

Everyone was great and friendly! Very good room with the perfect ocean view. Beach across the road was easy to get to. All the receptionist were eager to help. Yanis at the beach bar was the best!

No public transport facilities, taxis expensive to Agios Nikolaos to experience bars and restaurants. Very few decent restaurants at Ammoudara beach.

My room seemed to be jinxed because the air conditioning system didn't seem to work properly (eventually I got a member of staff to set it permanently at 22 degrees), I had an appalling smell of sewage coming from the drains on two nights for no apparent reason and the bedside lamp plug kept falling out of the socket. However, my son's room above me was perfect. Just hope the hotel staff get to grips with the room I was in for the sake of future guests! The only other thing is that the road between the hotel and the beach is quite busy in August and quite dangerous as there is a bend and it's hard to see traffic coming from the south. However, we did all manage it safely including the waiters going to and fro with trays of food and drink between the hotel and the beachside taverna.

The service is superb and all staff utterly charming. The hotel is in a fantastic location, right next to a lovely beach with beautiful swimming. Also, the food is wonderful. We ate in several other places, but none matched our own hotel. The rooms are smart, clean and modern with hairdryers in the bathrooms, air conditioning and a fridge plus electric rings.
