Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. PolandNothing negative- Just a note: This is Symi – If you have a motorbike or car, getting around is easy. For those on foot, please note that there are quite a few stairs to reach the hotel. Alternatively, you can take the bus for one stop and enjoy a short walk downhill to the hotel.
Extremely helpful staff, a lovely room with a sea view, and a well-served breakfast. The hotel supports sustainability by reducing plastic use, and they even provide a glass bottle you can refill at reception. The room was fresh and bright in white and baby blue tones.

Room was spacious with a small balcony and amazing view! Staff was a very friendly and helpful. They gave us a resusable bottle as a gift at our arrival which was very useful. They even had extra towels for beach. Breakfast was ok. Hotel is up on the hill and there are a lot of stairs which is a bit tired in summer with the heat, but there is a bus every hour from port or you can take a taxi for 5€. There is a perfect restaurant next to the hotel with great dishes and prices.

Lovely breakfast, bread fresh from the bakery opposite. Ice cold water on tap in the reception area. I look forward to returning to this hotel in the future.

Love lovely view and great small balcony overlooking harbour. Very clean and well looked after pleasant courtyard. Enjoyed breakfast on the balcony.

The friendly location & views were superb & it was away from the main hubbub of the harbour tourism. But that was a walk of 450 steep steps should you want.. there was also a lot of history & narrow streets to explore.

IrelandWe really loved staying here. The views were amazing, the rooms bright and cheerful and breakfast in the terrace overlooking the port was fantastic. Good bathroom with plenty of hot water. Really comfortable bed. There were good restaurants and bars 3 minutes walk away. What topped it off was the welcome and hospitality we received, making us feel at home and at ease. Great hosts, we were made feel like family. We'd stay there again when we return and would recommend it to others without hesitation

Everything met our expectations. The lovely and kind people made our accomodation perfect. Mrs Eleni and Mrs Mary were always available to help us. The room was very clean and convenient. There was a good aircondition (you need this in Symi), coffee machine and fridge in the room. Last but not least, we are in love with the view. We enjoyed in the public balcony both breakfast and lunch. Extra benefit is that the car can reach the hotel easily. We recommend it without hesitation!

United KingdomWe could not get a taxi to take us down to the bottom of the port to get our ferry back, 3 buses were completely full and so we had to drag our large suitcases down the 450 steps. My suitcase got a large hole in it from doing this and I had to purchase another one in Rhodes town for the flight home. I am a 52 year old woman and this was not easy.
