Because of preservation laws in Hydra there is no elevator. There are many steep stairs. Good exercise, but one should be prepared!

I think it is unacceptable for this hotel and for this price that they do not have breakfast. Instead they told us, if we wanted breakfast, we had to go to a nearby cafeteria and they were offering us 10% discount!!!

A few early teething issues with staff

Well locations off the town centre . Get used to lots of steps in the town and around the hotel . Good interior design

- There was a short issue with the hot water during our stay, but the staff handled it really efficiently. - Some may miss having a full breakfast option, though it didn't bother us as we enjoyed visiting the nearby bakeries and using the outdoor area for a relaxed breakfast with available fruit and snacks.

- Excellent location, right by the port and close to everything, making it easy to access. - Only 25m from the port with just two flights of stairs, making it manageable even with bags. - The hotel can also arrange assistance with luggage if needed. - The room was modern with charming original features. - High ceilings and well-equipped with every facility: kettle, Nespresso machine, hair dryer, and lovely toiletries. - Stayed in the garden room with a private outdoor space, perfect for enjoying a bottle of wine. - The hotel provided wine glasses and beach towels for our trip to the nearby Spilia Beach, which is a must-visit in Hydra.

The hotel has a beautiful area to serve breakfast and drinks but they don’t, which was hugely disappointing. I never read that breakfast was not included and seeing a stunning terrace that is just not used was really a let down. They have lovely tables and chairs making you think this could be the breakfast area but only to find no breakfast is served after paying a lot of money.

I think giving your guests breakfast on your terrace would make the stay so much nicer. You paying a lot of money and it just felt like this was really missing. Also serving drinks or having an honesty bar at the terrace would make this hotel perfect.

The rooms are gorgeous and the hotel is beautiful. We loved our room, all was 5 star.

Beautifully presented and in an excellent location just off the harbour, a perfect spot for exploring Idra town. The steps didn’t bother us at all - they’re quite explicit about it and have porters to help with bags if required. There’s a lovely outside terrace with dining tables/chairs and sofas/tables perfect for relaxing in private away from the huddle and bussle.

Pricing is on the high side for Hydra given the fact that the price is 'room only'. The room had one window only and was was small compared to the size of the room.

Perfect location in Hydra town, a recently renovated mansion. Facilities are brand new -rare to find in Hydra. Less than 5 minute walking distance to everywhere.
