I think the only suggestion would be to minimise access to the pools during the evenings for safety purposes as lots of toddlers hang around during that time.

Fantastic customer service. The manger really cares about the hotel, his staff and the customers experience. Food is excellent. We are vegan but the head chef made sure we were not left out. Lovely beach and great entertainment in the evenings. We Definitely recommend this hotel!

The majority of guests are German (not a problem in itself) and while I have no problem with our European neighbours the hotel caters understandably firstly to them. For example the food translations are often quite entertaining - 'Meat Salad with Bacon' and 'Green Pie' were fun examples. The menu in the beachfront restaurant wasn't even in english. Definitely not a biggie but the language barrier is a minor issue.

It is an attractive and nicely designed resort. The setup of the hotel site is excellent with separate nice pool areas for kids, adults and families, plus great access to a very nice beach. If you want to get out and about then the hotel is in an excellent position for catching the bus into both Chania and Rethymno or visiting Lake Kournas. The room was nicely laid out with 2 separate rooms and a balcony, but the bathroom was rather small.

Rooms were quite small and weren’t sound proof and we could hear every sound at night or in the morning. The water park area was smelling like sewage..

Very nice and helpful staff . They upgraded my two friends and I with our children to rooms in a newer building so we could all be next to each other as we all had booked separately and different room types.The buffet breakfast and dinner was very good with a wide variety and fresh vegetables and fruits . The hotel was spotless.

The only downside was having to pay €30 for the Bali beds on the beach unless you’re all inclusive platinum.

The room was clean and tidy and the staff were very helpful especially Nikolaos, The food options were good for breakfast and dinner. The beach is only a short walk and is clean and beautiful. The aqua park is good for family’s and there is an option to relax by the quiet pool which is a great option for just relaxing. We also had no issue renting a car and the staff were helpful and the transaction was painless and quick.

The hotel is very nice, the staff is very friendly and they were constantly looking after our comfort. The pools are very clean and everywhere was very clean. Not good value for money. All inclusive limited drinks and not much food options between main meals. Some drinks from the post mix were horrible but were changed on request. Hard to book into other restaurants for a change. Some areas of the resort scruffy, not up to 5 star level. No waiter service by the pool. Our air con unit kept leaking water, they tried several times to fix but it still leaked, this was the end of our stat so in the end we just left. Entertainment was mixed, and annoying that it was all separate to the bar area.

The under tunnel on the way to the beach needs stairs and some maintenance. Bar staff, the main swimming pool, needs some improvement , especially during the day The expresso cofee at main swimming pool has to be used more often , rather than automatic machine.. Umbrellas can be set up by staff in the morning?!

When you have half board you expect to have drinking water provided free of charge at dinner and not have to pay 4.50 euros every evening for water during our meal. On site toilets would be a welcome addition at the aqua park.

The staff were super friendly and helpful and very accommodating to our requests and needs. Fabulous surprise to get upgraded to the suites and later on to a presidential suite which made our stay unforgettable especially for our very active 3 year old who had more space to play. The variety and quality of food were exceptional. The beach is literally across the road and is pristine, equipped with comfortable bali beds, attended by a lifeguard and immaculate toilets and showers.

I think the water park should have one or two slides for children older than 10-12 years old. the slides are ok for kids under 12 years old.

Entertainment could be better especially for kids its always the same mini disco. Food options limited for gluten free or lactose free. Some areas of hotel had bad drainage smells. Kids playground needs a clean and revamp. Mini market could be better as very limited stock items and old fashioned shop.

Some of the employees in the restaurant were slow and we've waited sometimes too much because they were serving people that arrived after us.

The room upgrade was really helpfull (each children had his/her own bed), so thank you for that! The Aqua Park was the main attraction for the kids, but I was also plsently surprised by the sunbeds availability there and on the beach. The resort attracts quality customers that respect the rules. Finally, the view from the beach worths every cent.

Beach towel deposit: not taking card for deposit, so if you have no cash , you need to walk 15 minutes under the hot sun to the nearest cashpoint to pay a 3.95 euros fee to take some money. Smoking: how on earth can they still authorise people to smoke in the water park where there is children all around. The reception need a bit more training ( late check out request, restaurant booking).

The water park is great, water a little bit cold but usually not so busy, so good to enjoy. Beach is very near and nice. Food is fine but more local speciality would be nice. Hotel manager is exceptional and friendly, know his job and care about what people say. Room are cleaned daily.

For a family of four, with two teenagers, the Junior suite is a tight squeeze. The only real negative was that the two single beds for our children were uncomfortable, as they are fold-up beds, with metal joining bars protruding through the thin mattresses. They are not hotel standard single beds, completely different to the main room double bed.

Georgiopoulis Suites, as opposed to the Hotel Resort next door, was impressive. The staff on arrival were excellent, making the check-in experience seamless and explaining the all-inclusive package, which was comprehensive. The dining experience across all three daily meals is very good. Variety and quality is very high, with attentive staff on hand to provide drinks. The Junior suite is highly specified, with excellent lighting and well-maintained by the staff daily. Both pool areas are great, with very comfortable loungers for Suite guests. Drinks service to the loungers is easy to coordinate through a QR code. Guest wi-fi is everywhere and decent. The dedicated beach area, with bar and 'Bali' beach beds is great, easily accessed from the hotel via a dedicated tunnel under the road. The beds themselves are super comfortable. The water park at the rear is a great feature. This is shared with the Hotel Resort, so is a bit busier, but not significantly so.

The best hotel eveeeeer, as my kid said. We stayed at the suite section , not the resort, and we just loved this hotel. There is sooooooo much positive thing to say about this wonderful hotel. We booked the all inclusive and it was great. The rooms are luxurious, the buffet resturant were great, the food was tasty, fresh, diverse and plenty of everything.The pools were great, fun, relaxed, beautiful. The beach was a 5 min walk, a bit of a hassle but really not that much of a problem. There was a bar and restaurants there as well, and Bali beds, which felt like paradise. The water slides are a great addition for the kids, which they loved. The kids club was ok, but for younger kids. And the staff, wow!!!!! Always smiling, always kind, always helpful and I think that makes the difference from any other hotel, it made us feel welcomed and that our good experience matter. I highly recommend this hotel.
