United KingdomThe property was absolutely beautiful. Well manicured garden and well decorated. Although it was in the heart of Agios Ioannis, it was nit on the main road but was accessed via a set of stairs. As a result, it was the perfect oasis! At breakfast one could see the beach and hear the crashing waves. At night there was a cool breeze and it was wonderful to sit and chat with the owners and staff who were all phenomenal! They made us feel at home! The breakfast was also delicious and well presented. I’m vegetarian and they catered to my needs / provided meat free options. Highly recommend staying at Galini and we’ll definitely be back!

AustriaOnly issue was the room that was a bit loud due to the building being older and having wooden floors on the first floor! This room is the only one on the ground floor so it should not be an issue for other guests!
The owners were incredibly friendly and made sure to fulfill all our wishes. The hotel feels like a boutique living room - it feels like coming home and this is mainly due to the effort the owners put in the little details!

Greece“You guys will sleep outside today” That’s the first line we heard for not being able to access our room the first day of vacations. At least we managed to find the hotel since there’s no parking around and no one to pick up the phone to help you finding the place. The installation is old and the doors as well. there’s no privacy. Definitely not the place to go if you want some peace. we were informed at the first day that the hotel is not pet friendly and we learned later that policy changed months after we booked. In any case we stayed. we got locked outside of the room twice and lost precious hours of our vacations waiting for someone responsible to show up since the reception was always empty and abandoned. while we were waiting, we met other guests who had their reservations canceled, had to find a last minute solution and were waiting for days to get a refund, turning the situation even more frustrating. The second day after more than 5 hours waiting outside, because we were locked outside of our room again, the owner after resistance and long conversation agreed that the minimum was accepting a refund for one day. the best line: “did you let your windows open? Like this it’s easier to jump in from the other rooms and open the door”. unprofessional approach for such expensive hotel with no facilities. We hope the owners understand that this place is super expensive for what it offers and if they want to charge this much, they should at least pick up the phone when guests need them.

GreeceOur stay at this hotel was very disappointing and fell far short of our expectations based on the Booking.com listing. The hotel itself felt old and neglected, with noticeable mold in the room and with rotten wood that gave the impression of a largely abandoned property. This significantly impacted our comfort and sense of hygiene. Furthermore, despite being advertised breakfast no breakfast was provided during our stay. This was a major inconvenience and a misrepresentation of the amenities offered. Overall, we cannot recommend this hotel due to its poor condition and the inaccurate information provided on Booking.com regarding its facilities.
The location is perfect.

GreeceBeautiful and cozy hotel, located in a very quiet small street, yet very close to the beach and to many restaurants, cafes etc. Lobby and common spaces are nicely decorated and give a positive and calm vibe. Breakfast was amazing, full of delicious hand-made local delicacies. The owners are extremely kind and helpful. Overall, a memorable stay.
