Amazing. Close to everything. Great base to stay to see and explore the area

The kitchen is outside, which is not a problem for me. it just could be equiped a bit better. I just stayed three days so for me it was no problem. It was okay still. And I'm sure, if I would have asked for something they would have provided everything for me.

The location of the apartment is amazing. You have plenty of space all around with a big veranda. When I stayed there no one was living there, so I had all the space for me alone. I was welcomed by the daughter of the owners, who gave me the keys and was also there for the check out and helped me with my questions for transportation. Thank you! I really enjoyed to stay here and to enjoy the amazing view.

Mr Nikos and his family were excellent with us. Their hospitality was awesome, they were very kind and friendly and they provided us many helpful information about the area. Also, the room was spacious and confortable, including everything someone may need during the stay.

We didn't realise, from the photos or explanation of the place, that the kitchen was outdoors on the balcony! Even though it kind of worked for the 2 nights we stayed, it was a bit odd. Also, this was the only place we stayed in Mani without a common interior room, despite costing the same money as the other places we stayed along our Mani road trip. If it was called a "hostel" or "hotel" and offered breakfast in, and free use of, the large courtyard below, it would make more sense, and would add value to the otherwise high price.

Fantastic location and lovely hosts! Great to stop by Areopolis for a couple of nights.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful, the hosts were the friendliest people and we even got a welcome homemade treat upon arrival! Definitely recommend staying here, feels like home! Thank you for your hospitality, we'll be back :)

We had a wonderful time staying in the historic fortified settlement in the centre of Areopoli. The location was fantastic - so close to the museum, shops and restaurants. We stayed in a separate private apartment within the courtyard of the family home. We felt extremely privileged to have the opportunity to stay with Nickolas and Stavroula and have an authentic experience of Greek family life. The terrace where we had our breakfast and drinks in the evening was private with wonderful views of the coast and traditional Maniot towers. Nickolas and Stavroula were very hospitable and helpful.

Nick & Stavroula are the best hosts. we had the best 5 days in Greece Great location and highly recommended. if you want to experience authentic Mani living it is highly recommended

Our only issue was that the shower was above the bath and the bath was very narrow. The shower was attached to the wall too low for my husband. This was only minor but would be a problem for a larger person. I wish we had booked here for longer.

Staying at Grandpa’s house was wonderful. Firstly, our hosts Niko and Stavroula were so kind and generous. The accommodation was a lovely quaint house behind stone walls and a tiny door. The house was part of a compound of our house, the owner’s home and another apartment. We had a terrace above the house and a large covered area to relax in. The house had a double bed small kitchen and bathroom. The air conditioning was very good. Areopolis is a fantastic place to visit. It transforms into an amazing town at night.

The house was perfect, but bee careful because the maps doesn't work very well up there and it might suggest you to go by car into very narrow streets.

The host was very nice and the house had a wonderful view. Our room had a kitchen in the terrace and we could have dinner with the sunset in front of us. The room was clean and we found fresh fruits and water to drink. Aeropoli is the perfect place in the night with many taverns and pubs, but during the day you have to take you car and leave the city on favour of beaches because it's too warm.

The property is amazing, a beautiful ancient stone building in the middle of the historical part of the village. It has a large roof terrace, from where you overlook the clear blue ocean and the mountains. Sit there with your morning coffee, greet the sun and you will feel just in peace. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful, lot more than usual.

be wary that on Sunday the church bells go at 07:00 and that dogs may bark during the night. With absolutely no fault to the accommodation

We felt as if visiting a relative in Greece!! Friendly and very welcoming family. They give you advice on what to see in the region and are available if you need anything. Awesome central location in Aeropolis. Lovely bicentury house with a Roof top terrasse, take a cocktail from Manitari and watch a sunset. Parking is available near the church and in the street. Walk to visit the streets and tavernas, churches, shops. Worthwhile to visit other sites by car (Beach coves, castles, ports). Book it :)
