Our stay was in a deluxe triple room on the first floor of the property's new building. The air-conditioned room was spacious and nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable, and there was an open wardrobe for clothes, shoes, and luggage. The room was cleaned daily, and we received fresh towels daily (upon request) and sheets every other day. The balcony offered a great view of the garden and swimming pool, as well as the adjacent vineyard and the village. The swimming pool area was also very nice and clean, with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. Breakfast was à la carte, with several options freshly prepared when ordered. The snack bar offered several reasonably priced options for snacks, light meals, and drinks throughout the day. The hotel's location is excellent for exploring Alikanas village, as you can easily walk to shops, restaurants, bars, and the beach. Despite being close to amenities, it's still a quiet area, set off the main tourist road. The location is also convenient for driving around, allowing you to reach both the northern and southern parts of the island in approximately 30-40 minutes (depending on traffic). Ms. Antigoni, the owner, was always available to help and serve her customers with kindness and a big smile, as was the rest of the staff.

Ideal location - quiet with easy walk to the beach and restaurants. Fab swimming pool. Stayed in the new block which was lovely. Cleaned daily with fresh towels, hairdryer, fridge, kettle & safe. Bring own towels for the pool. Very welcoming.

We stayed in the duplex apartment. Spacious apartment. Very modern. Very clean. WiFi and tv if needed. Beautiful apartment great views, comfortable beds 2 bathrooms perfect for adults and teenage kids to have their own. Really recommend the hotel, staff very lovely and very helpful, food at the hotel was vey nice too. All good prices. Pool area was nice lots of shade for all. Big car park if you’re renting a car. Highly recommend.

Location a little out of town so beautifully quiet at night 😊. Nice modern room with A/C and poss the best hairdryer I’ve had anywhere! Pool lovely and easy parking for hire car

Comfortable room in a new building, beautiful views of the vineyard, daily cleaning. All new fixtures, mosquito nets, air conditioning. Big and clean pool, really hospitable staff. Delicious breakfast!

the new apartment block is lovely, new, fresh and modern. the location is great, near to everything shops, bars and beach but far enough that it peaceful and quiet in the apartment and round the pool.

Through no fault of the property, the only downside of the stay would be my own fault of not being prepared for the mosquitoes (mid-September stay). Bring the plug ins for the room.

Great location set back from the Main Street so that bit quieter. The owner and her sons were so accommodating and lovely. The new rooms are beautifully modern and comfortable. Lovely stay.

Lovely pool, not too busy even in august, our room was in the newer block and was modern, clean and well kept, food was very good too, beach was a bit of a walk but I think only because it was so hot, It was manageable and definitely worth it! We had a great stay.

I initially had reservations about the hotel's location as it seemed a bit out of the way – about a 15-minute walk to the beach and 5-10 minutes to the city’s restaurants. However, I quickly came to appreciate this distance. The walks were short and enjoyable, and the tranquility of the hotel was a welcome retreat after the hustle and bustle of the lively bars and restaurants. We stayed during the UEFA 2024, and were grateful for the peace and quiet, away from the tournament's buzz. During our stay, there was a complete island-wide power outage due to a heat wave. The locals handled it with remarkable ease: restaurants continued to serve meals by candlelight and on fire grills, and some supermarkets had diesel generators. After about four hours, the power was restored across the island. It was an interesting experience and a reminder of the island's resilience. This was an isolated incident, but it's something to be aware of if visiting during peak summer.

The Grapewine Hotel provided a wonderfully cozy atmosphere that made our stay truly special. The friendliness of the staff played a huge role in enhancing our holiday experience. As a family-owned establishment, it felt like visiting close friends who were genuinely invested in our comfort and relaxation. Highly recommend!
