We enjoyed the most relaxing time; it is the ideal place to switch off and recharge the batteries.

There is nothing to dislike. We didn't fully appreciate that the salt water pool, although amazing, is in front of the owners' house and patio, that was slightly off-putting, although we did use it twice, during our 8 day stay, during permitted hours. Anyway, we preferred to go to the beach, our favourite being Molos beach, with a long bay, and quieter than others (a car is needed to access), although without cafe\restaurant\bar. The owners provide everything that is needed (and more), but a wish list would include two small beach chairs and a sturdy beach umbrella that you hammer in the ground for comfort and protection from the sun.

The location of the guesthouse is excellent, hidden among a collection of private villas. Although next to the owners' home, it is very private and has its own small patio area, secluded from the owners' home, where we ate breakfast every morning. Alex checked us in and was polite and friendly. On arrival, he took us to see the tiny beach, only a 5 min walk, down steep steps. After that, we didn't see him until the end of our 8 night stay. This may have been because we drove off to beaches every day, and Alex wanted to respect our privacy. The guest house is pretty, well-equipped, and has good WiFi and air conditioning. The extra large double bed on the mezzanine level is really comfortable. Staying 8 nights meant we appreciated the excellent facilities (cooker, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, and well-stocked kitchen) that are provided. The bathroom is not big but perfect for a couple. There is plenty of space in the shower. We loved that a small beach tent is available to use. As dog people we absolutely loved the owners' white golden retriever, Lucy, an old girl, who appeared every morning, as we ate breakfast on the patio. At Alex's request, we resisted giving her any titbits. The guesthouse is on the east side of the island, and close enough to all the east coast beaches and villages/towns. It is about a 30 minute drive from/to the port. Nowhere is too far away, and you can drive around the whole island in little more than 1.5 hours. There is a well-stocked village shop only 8 minutes walk from the guesthouse, and there are also a few restaurants. A car is not essential, but an advantage, if you want the independence to explore the area and access the many beaches and towns/villages without having to wait on buses. We suggest you hire the smallest car possible, as many of the roads are quite narrow!

Nothing bad maybe have a quad bike or car to cover the surroundings better.

Good location for quiet stay with walkable access to restaurant and bar. Good beechs especially golden beech. Lovley accomadation with access to your own pool. Alex & Lucy(dog) were great company when needed.
