Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyNothing, it was all great.
Perfect location, easy instructions to get in the suite, flexible host who adjusted extra requests and followed up on us to make sure we were ok. The room is big, newly renovated, espresso machine and capsules there for us to enjoy. Very nice bakery just across the street to have breakfast at last, but not least, the right price!

Before I say anything about Haya Athens Loft Suites I must say how amazing Christina was during our stay. She was so communicative before and during our stay. Whenever I reached out for assistance her responses were instantaneous, helpful and friendly. She is amazing! The loft was spacious, modern and clean with great air conditioning which is a game changer when experiencing. Heat wave in Athens! The location is excellent with everything you would want to see within walking distance including Ermou Street, town center, acropolis and train station.

ColombiaThere is a disparity between the entrance area, which is a little grim and cold, to the room itself (since Haya Suites is not in charge of the entire building) - this didn't bother us, but just be aware. While the room exudes luxury hotel and offers some of its amenities (daily cleaning, toiletries, coffee machine, robes), it is not in fact a hotel, so everything surrounding that (lobby, dining area, in-person contact) is not part of this experience - again, not a negative, just something to be aware of in what to expect. While common practice in Greece, we personally prefer a "blanket" that is not just a sheet, even in summer. Something a little more substantial than a basic bedsheet - but that is a personal preference.
Our experience was not just comfortable, but luxurious. Everything is done very tastefully in the room, the furniture, the bathroom, the bed, the coffee station... The bed is very nice, extra pillows are provided, there is ample room in the bedside tables and closet. We loved the little details, from the coffee capsules and tea and little chocolates, to the robe and slippers; there were also many towels as well as shampoo and soap in the bathroom - these things upgrade it from the experience of an apartment, to somewhere between an apartment and a hotel. We decided to upgrade the room to a bigger suite and we didn't regret it, it was super spacious and opulent, we loved its design and feel, and the fact that it was so roomy and open made the stay that much more comfortable. Plus the lighting in the room is great, so many different options in location and intensity, combatting that sad and "all or nothing" lighting you usually get in hotel rooms. Another element in which Haya shines is the cleanliness, not only was it spotless when we arrived, the staff does an excellent job during the stay (plus the cleaning staff lady that helped us was extremely nice, helpful and pleasant). Also, the communication through Whatsapp was professional and efficient, they helped us with everything we needed. Lastly, the location also is a win, it is central and in between different areas, making it convenient to get to specific places but also roam and wander - the area itself is very lively while the building is in a quiet street. Another big component of the experience was value-for-money, we believe we received a very fitting and competitive price that made us appreciate the decision we made for accommodation in Athens. Obviously that is a more case by case subject, but for us it made it an experience most definitely worth repeating and we know we will be back.

AustraliaNo balcony and doesn't offer much view from the window. Life in the building is very miniature and not claustrophobia friendly. But stairs are available too.
Excellent location in the heart of Athens. Walkable distance to Acropolis, museums, Syntagma and abundance of fantastic restaurants, and also close to public transport if you need it. Room is newly refurbished and clean with good amenities. A very comfortable couch in the room so you can relax after doing a city walk. Wifi is great too.

South AfricaOur suite was impeccably clean with simple modern decor, a very comfortable bed, luxurious linen, towels and gowns, a beautiful bathroom with shower, and excellent communication with host Christina. It’s really well situated in a trendy more modern part of Athens with restaurants and shops but still very close to Plaka. There’s a fabulous bakery downstairs and a charming tiny traditional restaurant that’s been there since 1951. We woke on Sunday morning to the sound of church bells and the singing of a mass at the nearby Greek Orthodox Church. A great stay.

United StatesBuilding was not ideal as it was in a shared space in a slightly rundown building. Angry elevator lady, no ability to flush toilet paper down the toilet, and hidden taxes and fees. Horribly uncomfortable god awful bed.

AustraliaSuch an amazing hotel, we thought it was too good to be true based on the price being so low and the pictures being so nice, but booked it anyway due to the 5 star reviews everyone was leaving and it paid off!! It’s in a great spot, very modern, towels were of high quality and so was the bathroom shower pressure, and most of all the self check in process all being via a keypad with a code they send you day of checkin is a breeze. The host/manager who runs the hotel I never saw which I prefer, but is very polite and easy to talk to, and responds within minutes each time. Do not hesitate to book Haya suites, you will not regret it!
