Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

RomaniaIt was a pleasant experience for us to stay here. The room was very clean, beautiful balcony view and also the breakfast was very good. Close to one of the most quiet and beautiful beaches I’ve ever been. The staff was kind to us and helped us with everything we needed

United KingdomMy only minor gripes are that the WiFi signal in my room dropped out from time to time and that the shower tray leaked terribly. However, I would have no hesitation in returning to Helios Hotel.
Manuela and her small team were very friendly & helpful. The hotel has a calm and relaxed atmosphere. Convenient location - There is no village as such at Boukari, only a collection of tavernas lining the coastal road (mostly fish, all good quality), a couple of cafes and a mini market. From here a 5 min climb up to the hotel. Kouspades is a 15 min walk further up the hill. The bus stop (to Kerkyra) is at the bottom of the road. My basic room was spotlessly clean, airy and well maintained. Large comfortable bed, good shower with plenty of hot water, WiFi, air con, mini fridge and private balcony - mine had spectacular hillside & sea views The buffet breakfast is well worth the small additional cost, if only to sit and enjoy the garden which is a particular feature of the hotel and offers seating areas and a few sun loungers on one of the terraces. A speedy and very reasonably priced laundry service is also offered.

PolandWe had a great stay at the Helios Splendid. The beautiful garden was a perfect place to relax and have breakfast. The host, Manuela, and friendly and helpful staff made sure all our needs were met. The location is ideal, with plenty of activities (travel centre, boat hire etc.) and lovely restaurants within walking distance. The nearby beach was a highlight, and the friendly local people made the experience even better. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

PolandWe had a wonderful stay at Hotel Helios Splendid. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and our room was clean and comfortable. The amenities were excellent, enhancing our overall experience. The hotel's location, close to the beach, was perfect for both relaxation and sightseeing. On the way to the hotel, there's a charming regional market with very friendly people, and near the beach, you can enjoy delicious fish dishes. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning!

Beautiful garden, good bed and air conditioning, small fridge. Nice location, close to restaurants and stores, beach 500m, or 20 min. by car (Issos beach) The room was cleaned every day, with a nice balcony and sea view. Breakfast with very good homemade orange marmalade, feta cheese, crispy bread, cold fruits and coffee.

BrazilBreakfast could have been a bit better and the sea view is not directly from the balcony. Also the shower is not the most confortable, but overall we liked our stay and would come back again.
Overall a good value for money. We didn't have a car so we rented a motobike directly through the hotel. The closest beach is small but really nice.

EstoniaOur bathroom would need some improvement: short shower curtains would leak onto the bathroom floor after shower.
We liked the breakfast, the extra items we could take to the beach: parasol, towels, floaties etc. Also, the overall kindness and hospitality of the host and it is family friendly. Fridge in the room is a good plus and a very nice balcony on the floor with a great view to the nearby beach.

IsraelSome of the facilities are too old and could be detailed to get improved.
Close to the sea. Quiet environment away from the crowds. Nice breakfast area, nice view from the balcony.Helpful manager that took care of every request. Facility is a bit old but this a part of the charm. It looked like there was an effort done to improve the interior design. Equipment for the beach is available with no charge.

Quiet beautiful location, a bit far away from any towns but still enough restaurants and shops to keep you happy. Getting to Corfu town and other towns is easy even if it does take a bit of time, hotel is stunning with beautiful views.

PolandThe windows are old and wooden, letting the heat and noise inside. Breakfasts are quite poor and to drink coffee and eat eggs you need to pay additional fee.
The hotel is located in a small village next to the seashore and approx. 300 m up the hill, so it give a nice view from the rooms, but also a climbing challenge each time. There is a direct bus connection from the Corfu city 3 times a day, but the bus finds it very difficult to run on time due to a very narrow road (the bus cannot pass other vehicles on the road...) The staff of the hotel is friendly and helpful!

RomaniaUnfortunately, the breakfast was extremely poor. Not a single vegetable, no egg, not even a lonely olive. Everything was processed food — tasteless cold cuts, generic cheese, and the so-called coffee was basically dirty water.
The accommodation was acceptable — the room was clean and quiet, and the lady at the reception was very kind and helpful. That definitely made a good impression.
