Doesn’t have a direct sunset view but still get l the beautiful colours changing in the sky. A few steps to get to the property but were helpful taking our suitcases.

Honestly, nothing – we loved absolutely everything!

We had an absolutely amazing stay – everything was perfect! The location, our room, the food, the service… and the views were truly spectacular! It truly felt unreal waking up there.The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, from the reception team to everyone working throughout the hotel. We felt so well taken care of. We would 100% come back, and we already miss it!

Iconic Santorini is very special and unique place that you would not regret choosing if you would like to indulge in a luxury experience. We loved the sense of privacy ( which is impossible to get in Santorini), the stunning views, the great facilities and above all the wonderful staff at the hotel - everyone was very attentive, kind and human, making you feel like home and making sure you get an unforgettable stay. I visited this hotel with my girlfriend and we enjoyed our stay here! From the moment we got to the hotel we got well taken care off. They fixed transport to the hotel, carried the bags for us to the room, gave us welcome drink and advice and tips to what to visit on the Island. The hotel has the best view of the water and the sunset in Imerovigli in my opinion. Because of the position and elevation in the bay. I actually proposed to my girlfriend on the Balcony of the hotel. The staff was very willingly to help me arrange it. We would definetly want to come back!

Breakfast service didn’t quite match the high standards we experienced elsewhere in the hotel. The staff seemed a little less attentive during this time, and service was much slower than expected despite submitting the order along with a breakfast time the night before.

Absolutely loved everything about this hotel — from the stunning setting and breathtaking views to the luxurious attention to detail in our room. The entire place was spotlessly clean, and the pool area was a lovely spot to relax. The welcome we received from a friendly young gentleman made us feel instantly at home, and the reception team were always so responsive and helpful. Breakfast was a highlight each morning — a lovely selection, beautifully cooked, and consistently perfect.

Staff is very helpful, even the cleaning ladies. One cleaning lady was very supportive to us, my wife was a bit sick in the holiday, she tried to do her best to help. Thanks a lot! View is great from the hotel.

Iconic Santorini truly lives up to its name. This place is perfection. Easily a 10/10 experience. The location in Imerovigli is unreal: peaceful, with the best view. It’s front-line caldera with no crazy stair climbing, which is rare in Santorini. We were upgraded from a deluxe room to the honeymoon suite for my birthday, and wow - it was incredible. Spacious, beautifully designed, with a dreamy indoor tub and that view you’ll never stop staring at. The staff were absolutely exceptional. Genuinely kind, attentive, and made everything feel so special, from the warm welcome to the surprise bottle of wine. Breakfast was amazing every single day, fresh and full of variety. Honestly, you don’t even need to leave the hotel. Everything you need is right there: comfort, privacy, beauty, and pure relaxation. If you’re going to Santorini, this is the place.

Lovely views, very nice room and accommodations, very good service. Great location in Imerovigli because it was at an easy walking distance from the top of stairs. The decor was fanstastic as were the pools in the rooms, as well as the main pool in front of the bar. Had some drinks there upon arrival.

I honestly couldn’t fault any part of my stay.

I had the Cliff suite with an indoor pool and outdoor private plunge pool. It was completely private with the most breathtaking views over the Caldera. The main pools, cocktail bar, breakfast area are all gorgeous too. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, 5 star service from beginning to end.

We were upgraded to the Cliff Cave Suite, it was fantastic! This room is the furthest down, and the most private. The views were spectacular! The Staff was very friendly and efficient. We loved the stay here!

There were minor problems but none that could take away from the beauty and charm of this hotel given the cheeriness and friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. 1. The water wasn’t potable but that was to be expected on a volcanic island. But twice daily the staff brought free bottled water to our room and they would have quickly provided more if we needed it pretty much 24/7. 2. My wife and I are not young and there are plenty of steps, but they gave us a room that minimized this problem. And they cheerfully dealt with our luggage so that we never needed to carry anything.

What did we like? Pretty much everything!! Just walking out of our room and looking down at the caldera or up at the completely dense whitewashed houses above us— most of which were other high end hotels— delighted us. These were sights we never tired of. They were so spectacular that it was hard to believe they were real. The view was especially spectacular in sunset from our verandah or our (shaded) sun beds or the hotel’s outdoor restaurant or its pool area .Our room—carved out of the volcanic rock —was quite spacious and very appealing. The bed into which my mother wife and I gladly sunk after a day of touring or just walking was like a welcoming pillow into which we sank — to emerge refreshed the next day — though honestly the sensation was so nice that, despite the fabulous views waiting us, we never wanted to leave our bed. Especially since we could open the shutter on our door and look out at sunset! The hotel breakfast was very good and dinner in the hotel was also good, but we normally would take a five minute or so walk up a steep set of steps to get to a main square where there were two highly rated restaurants, one specializing in fish and the other in meat. We loved the fish restaurant , the Aegean, since it also has a lovely view of the caldera and the whitewashed rooms, We ate there four times: sea bream, sea bass, snapper and on our last night lobster. These were as good as it gets. But the bonus was the scrumptious and distinctive desserts (half a dozen or so kinds) of which we tried four! (Warning: these desserts are not for those counting calories.) We especially liked the very unusual cheesecake. The staff were gracious and helpful. When our taxi came they arranged to meet it and sent two of the staff to take all our luggage down the set of steps to our room. Watching them tote two bags each while skipping down steep steps was an experience. And ditto in shlepping our luggage to meet the taxi that picked us up after our week long stay.

We were in a lower room so anytime there was wind the umbrellas on the deck above us would sway and make a pounding noise from the cement base. Even with the umbrellas closed. During the day not a big deal but at night it could be annoying.

The view was amazing. Property was always clean including all the hot tubs and pool area. The staff was very attentive, helpful, and quick in response time. Would definitely return!

Had to choose from the breakfast menu the night before - which I found strange. Bar staff could/should offer proactive drinks service by seeking out guests. This hotel is on various levels and it wouldn’t be difficult for them to occasionally “make the rounds” These are all small matters - it’s a great hotel.

Great location - views amazing - breakfast excellent. A good hotel and worth a visit.
