How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewThis is the second year that we came to this property and is amazing. The apartment is very clean and confortable. The owners are amazing and you have all you need . The restaurant is downstairs and this was just amazing because the food is excelent and the prices are really good. The most beautiful beaches are 2 minutes from the property. All I can say is that everything is amazing at this property and for sure that we will come again !

Verified reviewBeautiful location with sea view (eastwards) on three balconies/porches if you wish! Private house over a restaurant. Three rooms and spacious. Complete kitchen outfit. We had breakfast in the restaurant and you can order whatever you want. Very good.
Breakfast only starts at 9 AM. The house is clean but no cleaning at all during three days. Old fashioned interior but that was visible on the pictures already. Insect screens everywhere, which is good. Poor WC/shower room: tiny and no shower curtain. You will burn your skin on the water tap, which gets super hot on one end. From breakfast till 10 PM you hear the restaurant music (radio station, no music CD) too loud when you’re on the main balcony. This is irritating; only inside you escape the music and ads. WiFi is functioning very badly. We also had dinner in the restaurant twice, which left us stunned and insulted. We had starters and main courses, so eight dishes in total. Moussaka was very strongly recommended. The main dishes were served while we were still eating the starters. Of eight dishes three were cold or almost cold (including the moussaka). One other dish was not the one ordered. On complaining the waiter said “my mother has warmed the food” and he informed his mother. Silence. After half an hour we left table and went to the kitchen for a conversation, but the mother did not have time for us. Neither did she come back on the complaints next morning. So not only the food quality is below standard (cold prepared or old food rewarmed a bit) but also you don’t ignore a complaining customer like that. Utterly disrespectful. The location gets a 10 but the rest spoils it.

Verified reviewGood afternoon, we holidayed as a family of two adults and three children in this house in August 2023. The owners, wonderful people, ready to help everyone, at any time. On the ground floor delicious and budget cooking, in the tavern with a beautiful view. We and our children always had something to choose. The food is varied, not expensive, wonderful breakfasts and delicious morning coffee created the mood for the whole day. Thank you for the tour, advice on the island, good attitude. The house is clean, bed linen is changed, cleaned. On the territory of the house there is a playground with swings and trampoline, children's playhouse, all this under a canopy and even at lunchtime our children could safely play. Great location, a variety of beaches and beautiful surroundings. The location of the house is convenient for exploring the island. The island is beautiful, the water is wonderful, be sure to take the car to see everything. Thank you for the heartwarming conversations and awe-inspiring treatment of our family.❤️

Verified reviewThe house is beautiful with wonderful views during sunrise and sunset. there are two balconies, a solar heated shower, very modern kitchen facilities, two bedrooms(one for kids) and a sofa bed. The area is so peaceful and the family who owns it are wonderful, friendly and so helpful. The Tavern there has some of the most authentic food on the Island. The mother is an excellent cook and baker. They make there own wine and olive oil as well. we tried many local foods.
