How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewMost amazing experience! We were welcomed so friendly and warm-hearted. All the staff is very hospitable and always helpful. As we arrived early and had to wait for the room we were offered a welcome drink on the terrace. The view is breathtaking! The room is very nice and has everything you need. Parking in front of the hotel is easy. You can easily reach the airport, there is a lively area in walking distance and Zakynthos town is a few minutes away by car. The pool area is beautiful and we can also recommend the restaurant, the food was excellent and the view is insane! But what made our stay so special was the entire staff. They are so kind and made our stay the most lovely experience. Thank you also to Angelica who even offered to buy oat milk for me and all the other restaurant and reception staff. You are truly amazing! We would always come back. 100% recommendation!

Verified reviewMy room was exactly as shown in the pictures, very clean and well-kept. It had a smart TV, which allowed us to watch Netflix 😉, and a balcony with sunbeds offering beautiful views of both the pool and the sea. The included breakfast was also a thoughtful touch and added to the overall experience.
Breakfast could be improved with more variety and warmer options.

Verified reviewThe hotel is beautifully located on a hill with great view. We came for our honeymoon and expected a relaxing stay, unfortunately there were kids playing and swiming in the pool naked which we did not expect. Breakfast is okay, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Verified reviewPosition in Argasi is perfect for moving to the most beautiful beaches and places around Zante. The hotel position offers a wonderful view and breath-taking sunsets. The personnel is kind, always available and smiling. The room was perfect for us as a couple; the design and colours are super relaxing; a corner with a kettle and a coffee machine is also available; the swimming pool is a plus and it’s always clean and never crowded. We found the hotel a magic place to live our 10 days vacation!

The pool closed quite early.. it would have been nice for it to be open a bit longer but appreciate that it’s next to dinner tables, so not sure how this would have worked in reality. Wasps! Although they can’t be helped.

Longish walk into town but only because the location of the hotel was quiet with excellent views - we did not want to be central in Argasi.

Verified reviewVery nice location, wonderful view from the hotel property, not too big and close to the airport. Clean and modern room. Nice restaurant with good food, great view and friendly staff.
Room names are a bit misleading about the view (panoramic is not true, we had bushes and pool stuff obscuring the view partially) and unclear that some rooms have no privacy due to being open to the pool (like ours was). Yes, some room pictures show this but it’s easy to miss. the titles and descriptions should be accurate. Hotel staff was also expert in not taking responsibility and pointing how it was my own fault for not noticing on the pictures (disregard bad room description).

- The opening hours of the pool - after 7-8PM the pool was closed and this is a pity as the pool was great but during the day I prefer to visit the island - The rooms are quite compact, with the sink in the room rather than the bathroom and there wasn't a lot of storage for clothes. - Pretty good breakfast, but just gets very repetitive if you stay longer than 3 days
