Perfect location to access the sandy beaches across the street. We spent all our time at Kaliva Beach Lounge. Miss Irene was warm and welcoming and provided a great breakfast every morning. Each day was something new- a special bread or a different egg dish. They really do make an effort for a nice start to the day.

The A/C worked more like a fan (didn’t cool the room down enough). Wifi was slightly shaky the first few days

Mrs Irene was the most welcoming and lovely host! She helped us with taxis and also greeted us with homemade local delicacies. The room was spacious and clean, our balcony had the view of the sea. The location is quiet with stunning gardens. Overall, an ideal place to stay!

Irene could not have been a more welcoming or helpful host. She happily gave us a lift to and from our studio and the produce at breakfast was home-made and freshly baked, from the jam to the pastries, with special treats for Easter.

No hot water so had to have cold showers which was not great. A little more in the room would have been helpful. E.g. milk,tea, coffee. Shower gel in the bathroom. Bathroom door latch is temperamental so sometimes just opens when you are on the loo or my partner almost got stuck in the bathroom. All small things but we were only staying for one night so not a big issue.

Room had a nice view and balcony. Good breakfast. They are doing some maintenance which will make the place really nice.

The room was nice, especially the balcony, but there were a few issues. When we entered the room, it smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. It took us a few days to air it out to get rid of the smell, but it thankfully went away by the third day. The bathroom in the room was not pictured on Booking, so we were very surprised by it, especially considering the price we paid. It wasn't what we were expecting. It wasn't renovated and both shower heads didn't work well... Same with the kitchen area (wasn't what was pictured). The kitchen was also lacking basics like some oil, salt, pepper, pans, dishes, etc. It wasn't a huge deal since we ate out most of the time, but we would have cooked more if these things were there.

The breakfast was amazing! We loved the homemade pies and cakes. Everything was delicious and plentiful. The location was great. The beach was only a few minutes' walk from the property and was clear and lovely the entire time we were there. The best part is the staff. They're all very kind and greeted us with a smile every time! Our room was cleaned every single day as well.

Stayed with my family in room 13. We knew that the place would be small. However, it was smaller than perceived in the photos from booking.com. The bathroom in room 13 was different and too small compared to the one from the photos. When I asked the staff about this and showed the photos from the site, they said that the photos were made in another room, but this is the one. The AC works only if all the windows are closed, which makes sense (sensors are in place), but since you have 2 rooms separated by a door and the AC is in one of them you can not leave the AC on in one room and the window open in the other room. The AC was old and shutting down after a period, I had to figure out in the middle of the night how to keep it going as it was probably set on economy mode. Thou the door to the balcony had a mosquito net, it was not fixed at the edges so they could easily go inside. In one of the 2 nights, I had to wake up several times to kill 4 thirsty mosquitos. Above the door entry, there is a powerful green light sign to probably indicate the door. It emits a lot of light exactly in the eyes of the person who is sleeping in the big bed. Definitely not for light sleepers. The small bed was not comfortable and had a wooden bookshelf just above. In the night, you can easily hit your head against it. The place was way too expensive compared to the places nearby for what it offers. The good breakfast does not justify the 202 EUR per night. The room where the breakfast was served was too small, which meant that you either had to take it outside or in your room. I understand that for the family, it is a lot of work to keep the place tidy as it was; however, for us, it was not a pleasant stay.

Breakfast was satisfactory. You could eat it outside where there were a few tables in the shade or sun. The large bed was comfortable. The place is near Golden Beach (3 mins by car), which is a nice sandy and shallow beach for families and the village Batsi (10 mins by car), which has nice bay and a lot of restaurants. The place was clean.

It was difficult to find, lack of signage. It looked like she hadn't received the booking but handled it well. The kitchen supplies looked lacking but we weren't using them. Wouldn't be good for a long stay without more of everything.

It was comfortable. The building attractive. Probably a good location in summer because you can walk to the beach.

The surrounding area was very rural. Only a handful of places you dine and a small supermarket with mediocre produce. Walkable from the port, but better with a taxi which cost less than 10 euro.

The breakfast was wonderful—highly recommended for both taste and meeting other guests to practice your Greek. Local products and handmade pie and cake! A wonderful beach, our favorite in Greece this trip, was a short walk away. Nice terrace for lunch after the sea. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.
