How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewOverall, a nice hotel with wonderful staff, a beautiful territory, and a clean pool. The kitchen is small, but sufficient for preparing simple meals. Nearby there are some restaurants and shops.
Although the floor is cleaned and towels are changed regularly, there were cobwebs on the ceiling and the walls looked a bit neglected. The bathroom is very small with a tiny shower, and after using it the water spreads all over the floor — one small foot towel is definitely not enough. Since the entire room has tiled flooring, if you walk from the wet bathroom into the room, it can become quite slippery. At the very least, it would be helpful to provide a mop in the room.

Verified reviewThe pool was fine. It was still clean for the first few days. After that, it was less well-maintained. The location is pleasant, a bit secluded, and several restaurants are within a few minutes' walk.
The bathroom was very small. You couldn't turn around in it, and it flooded quickly. The shower rail wasn't exactly level. On one side, it was 1.80m high and the other 1.60m high. This is maintenance you need to take care of during the winter months when you're not hosting guests. Several times, there was a shortage of toilet paper, and it wasn't replenished at all, or at least sparingly. The Wi-Fi didn't work in the room. Not a big deal, but it shouldn't be offered. It's incredibly noisy. It sounds like the people above and on either side of you are in your room. There were also many groups of young people making a lot of noise until the early hours. As a hotel, you should choose a side: either families or young people. Either way is fine, but both are simply not possible. We only had breakfast once, and it was meager and very expensive for what you got. In our experience, the staff wasn't very energetic, and it felt like a chore. We recognize Paolo's review: if you raise a point for improvement, it's not appreciated and the staff isn't as friendly afterward. No, we wouldn't recommend this accommodation to family or friends.

Its a family owned hotel and they made us feel very welcome and dealt with any quieries we had very effciently! Evgeny and Antony were very friendly and welcoming. The pool was very clean and the kids loved it! Would deffinately recommend and visit again!

The change from previous stays. No hot on two mornings. Room not kept clean, kitchen area not touched in 11 days. Beds uncomfortable due to bottom sheet so small can only be tucked in one side. It used to be such a warm welcoming place now its a look up from the mobile phone and a wee wave. Miss you Panagiotis

Verified reviewWe stayed at Jenny's hotel for 7 days the experience is excellent! You will be greeted by an excellent receptionist and friendly staff, the receptionist will go over and beyond to his own responsibilities and will give you some heads ups for the area, don't hesitate also to ask him about where it is good to go for sightseeing! The staff are good at what they're doing in the pool bar excellent service and good coffee ( we didn't order their breakfast though they offer some selection for breakfast and snacks during the day) pool is clean with the surrounding area to be exceptional they even have a hammock. The cleaning room service is on another level they keep everything clean and tidy for your accommodation and pleasure ( clean towels every day change the bin bags every day also in the bathroom) In general it worth's the 3 star rating since to achieve a 4th one that would mean more facilities but the concept is to be as close as possible to a chill and relaxing atmosphere! For sure you'd like to rebook there

It is just up the road from restaurants and a short stroll to the sea and many more bars and restaurants.. in a perfect spot for relaxing, dining, swimming for a lovely relaxed holiday. Thank you 😁

We had problems with booking and the reservation. Due to bad weather we could not take the ferry, and had to change to one night less, but still had to pay full amount + extra fee for modifying, so we ended up paying a lot for one night....no discount or anything was offered
