Excellent location, friendly staff, clean facilities & fresh breakfast !

Hotel Kastro was super lovely . A very quaint and beautifully kept hotel.

Elegant and very clean environment. Breakfast was freshly prepared by the very kind lady who welcomed us. If I were to return to Ioannina, I would definitely consider staying at the Kastro.

Only the location of the room in the building, downstairs, makes it noisy in the morning as the breakfast etc are being prepared (it's an old building). But minor inconvenience compared to the nice stay that I had there

Small, centrally located hotel with friendly staff. It was comfortable and everyone was very kind.

The staff were very friendly and accomodating, and my room was comfortable and spacious. The building has an amazing aesthetic and a lovely courtyard where we enjoyed great breakfast.

Great hotel within city walls. Friendly staff who gave information and recommendations. Free Street Parking. Large room.

We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights and everything was high value. They changed the sheets and clean every day, very helpful and polite and very nice breakfast.

Room was lovely. It seemed much larger than the pictures showed. Had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Location was excellent with car parking outside. Within the old city walls and a 2 minute walk to the castle. Very close to the lake and the boats which take you to the Island. Also close to the new town with numerous shops, restaurants etc. but once you re-enter the city walls it is very peaceful ensuring a good nights sleep. Staff were very helpful with a good knowledge of the area and gave excellent recommendations of places to visit, opening times etc. They also stored our luggage so we were able to explore the city on our last day. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel is a building with character. It is located in a very quiet area which is full of history and is just a short walk from everything: the lake, the museums, the shopping area, and the restaurants. The breakfast was very good and served meticulously by the host. The staff was friendly and helpful for any question we had.

The hotel takes a lot of effort in making your stay special. They are very welcoming and since it's a small quiet hotel, you feel like you're almost part of a family. The hotel itself is completely renovated with a big focus on style and individual elements.

I didn't like the breakfast. It was very nicely decorated but consisted only of white meal bread, cookies, sandwiches, cake, sweets. Very unhealthy, no veggies, dairy or fruit.

The location was central and within walking distance to all attractions. The breakfast served in the courtyard was very good. Helpful staff.
