Stunning location with a large tranquil garden in a busy mountain town. All staff were super helpful and friendly

"Kenta Mountain Hotel & Gastrobar is a real gem in Portariá. The location is perfect, with the bonus of private parking, and the breakfast was truly fantastic. But what really sets this place apart is the staff — warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They make all the difference, turning a great stay into a memorable one

Polite and kind staff; cool air (we slept with the windows open and didn't use air conditioning); cleanliness; location, delicious breakfast that you can take outside; we didn't try the hotel's cuisine but we tried two of their desserts and they were extremely delicious and light; parking space

I write this with a smile 😊 - the first night, about an hour before sunrise, two cats argued for quite a long time and I had to splash water from the terrace, and the second night, at the same time, 😁 a dog barked, but fortunately it was further away and its echo flowed away. The good thing was that we heard animals, not the roar of scooters and cars so early in the morning

Brand new hotel. Excellent job on the renovation. Friendly staff. Parking for large cars. Definitely a place where we'll come back.

Excellent breakfast, with local products. Every day there was a handmade pie and a cake. Also, the fridge was refilled every day with bottles of water. The surroundings were green and peaceful. I liked the details: Apivita soap/shampoo, the decoration and old style windows. The locals were very hospitable and eager to help with anything we asked for. Also, there is parking at the hotel and near the hotel. It was close to the city of Volos but also an hour drive to the most beautiful beach of east Pelion. The Centaur's path near the hotel, was an amazing nature path.

I would like to have an iron in the room and a clothes hanger (which they provided, when I asked).

Amazing location. Fairyland outdoor dining setting for dinner and breakfast. Upscale dining experience with perfectly made cosmopolitan and high quality food w attention to all of the details: presentation, spice and grilled just right. Luxurious accommodations in adorable mountain village. And don’t forget the incredible service and warm hospitality. We will be back.

The building has been beautifully restored preserving the history whilst offering modern comfortable facilities. The staff are exceptional and the location is excellent, everything in the village is within easy walking distance. The large garden is a real bonus, perfect for breakfast outside or a sundowner before dinner.

The Kenta Hotel is a wonderfully renovated old Pelion house, retaining all of the traditional features but with super modern rooms and facilities. The beds are hugely comfortable and the water pressure is excellent in the well-appointed bathroom. Breakfast was a great buffet selection, which you could eat inside or out in the beautiful garden overlooking Portaria village. Our only regret was that their restaurant was closed when we were there - so we shall simply have to return on a Friday , Saturday or Sunday, when we know it’s open!

This perfectly positioned traditional Αρχοντικό (mansion house) has been carefully and sympathetically restored and beautifully modernised to provide an exceptional experience in the wonderful mountain village of Portaria. Our room was spacious and airy with windows overlooking the garden and views out over the Pagasitic gulf. The bathroom was modern and spotlessly clean, well equipped with rainfall and hand showers, lovely Greek toiletries and fluffy towels. The large garden benefits from sun all day but also has plenty of shaded areas. Breakfast can be taken indoors or outside and was delicious with a good selection of Greek and international dishes. Guests can dine at Kenta or take a short stroll into the village for a good choice of dining opportunities. Drinks can also be taken in the garden to make the most of the sunsets over the gulf. This all year venue benefits from a fireplace in winter and air conditioning for the summer months. The staff are exceptional and nothing was too much trouble - thank you, we will definitely be back!

The owner of the hotel and hid wife were very very friendly, they did every thing they could to to make our stay perfect. We strongly recommend staying in the hotel, we will sure do.
