It’s in a nice quiet little fishing type village with the beach 20m away, some of the most popular beaches are a fair bit away but we just hired a car and had some amazing days there!!!

The location was incredible if you're looking to stay in the area. They are also super friendly and the rooms were much better than expected. Overall, a great stay.

I aim to give balanced reviews and so will start off with the caveat that you cannot park outside the accommodation but there is ample parking at either end of the port. Something to remember if you have a lot of luggage. This is budget accommodation and therefore is basic. However the rooms though small are modern and comfortable. The bed is comfortable and the pillows soft. The bathroom has a clean and modern shower. The fantastic view from the balcony is of the sea over the roof of the taverna. This is a family run tavern and rooms and Doxa who met us was friendly and helpful and showed us the room with pride. She was available to ask questions and the family getting things ready for fishing or her daughter who was quite happy to say hello, this begins your holiday in Kefalonia in a relaxing and comfortable manner. I hope we see you again. Thanks for a lovely time.

Doxa is a wonderful host. The place couldn't have been more perfectly located, across a tiny road from a beautiful beach. Her brother has a great restaurant across the street. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable.

Location is amazing, only a few paces from the beach. The room is a great size and have everything you need. The owner is amazing, so friendly and always there to help with anything. A real gem of a place! Highly recommend.

I liked everything

Small hotel beach front with sea views from the balconies. It was a quiet and cosy place for a super reasonable price. The rooms are on the smaller side, but it was still plenty of space for us. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom was spacious, and the whole interior felt very new and clean. It's located in a small village with lots of great restaurants and tavernas, has a sand beach right across the small road, and is a very close drive to other big empty sand beaches. And the host was very lovely and helpful. We absolutely loved it!

Located in the middle of the village and a few steps from the beach. Scrupulously clean. Comfortable bed. Friendly owner

You can’t stand under the shower as fixed point/cradle for shower head was at waist level. Just means you had to hold it up to rinse off shampoo etc. its behind restaurant so balcony feels less private.

Near the beach. Clean and quiet. Maybe too quiet the entire area, as the restaurants were almost empty by 23-23:30 in the night. The beach was clean, the water clear and small depth. 2 Sunbeds and 1 umbrella 10-15 euros.

Room has everything needed for a comfortable stay, the owner Doxa lives on site and goes above and beyond to make your stay perfect including a daily clean. Location is 30 meters from beach with numerous restaurants all within walking distance in this wonderful little village

Owner was fabulous, so lovely and helpful. Very friendly and welcoming, cleaned the rooms every day and was always available for a nice chat and offer advice should we need it. Location was fantastic, Katelios is a very lovely quiet little place with lots of restaurants and bars, not too busy when we went (early June 24). Almost too many places for the custom really. AC was excellent. Price was excellent, so please bear this in mind when reading what I didn't like. It is FAIR for the price.

MUST be said, it is very FAIR for the price. Room was very small, not a lot of space around the bed, the bed itself was very firm, only one hard pillow, We had a kettle but no teas or coffee provided but you can of course get your own. We didn't bother as no where to really sit and enjoy a nice drink. The outdoor area was small and not particularly private. No where in the room to sit other than the bed. But for the price I understand.

Location right next to the beach, with restaurants and bars nearby. Very welcoming host, clean and quiet place. Skala less than 10 minutes by car.

The reason I chose the accommodation was the sea view, but I didn't get that from the room I got.

We spent a week at Kiani Akti. Amazing apartment. Cleaned everyday, by the amazing Doxa. Honestly, all the reviews about this lady and how she makes her guests feel are 100% true and even better than that. Nothing is too much trouble. We cannot wait to go back. Katelios is a wonderful place and Kiani Akti is the only place we would want to stay. Thank you Doxa, you're wonderful.😊

What an absolute gem 💎 doxa was the most friendly and helpful host who made me feel safe and comfortable throughout my stay. So much so I have booked to return next year! Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Kateliós!!! Clean and comfortable rooms with fridges, air con, kettle, hot shower, brilliant wifi and regular linen and towel changes, made daily and right above the most beautiful fish restaurant. I already am counting down the days until I return! ❤️

It was a little loud on the evening. However we do go to sleep at 10pm which is very early for holiday makers

The location of the property was perfect, a 30 second walk from the beach. The room was really comfortable and clean, and was cleaned everyday with fresh sheets and towels. Doxa was an amazing host who can answer any questions you have about taxis, things to do etc.
