How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewWe were very disappointed with our stay. The hotel markets itself as 4 stars, but it is far from that, more like 2 stars. The hotel grounds were poorly maintained: garbage was scattered everywhere, the lawn was burned out, and the sunbeds were old, damaged, or stained. Beach towels were tiny, old, and in poor condition. For our 5-year-old child, they provided a crib for babies and promised to bring a proper bed in the evening, but no one came. Luckily, we noticed that our bed had a lower frame and we had to set it up ourselves to give our child a proper place to sleep. The kitchen and breakfast left a lot to be desired: • Utensils and kitchen tools were not properly cleaned. • Tomatoes were not fresh, yet the staff still served them to guests. • Eggs at breakfast literally swam in oil. • The service cart and cleaning cloths used by staff were filthy, blackened and unhygienic. And this was the service cart in the kitchen! • Coffee was only instant from a machine; no proper coffee was available. We paid around €1,500 for 7 days, all-inclusive, via Booking, but hardly ate in the hotel due to questionable cleanliness and food quality. The only positive was the cleanliness of the room itself, BUT even there you couldn’t fully relax, since the smell from the plumbing was overwhelming So I can’t recommend this hotel at all

I HAD ELECTRIC SHOCK with the hair dryer provided- not supposed to happen Towels are dirty, hard not at all soft. Poor quality of food- no much of local selection. Swimming pool small and dirty - sunbeds and tables have never been wiped clean. Shame!!! Not enough space for all the guests

Regarding the incident with the hairdryer, as soon as you informed us, we responded immediately by arranging for you to be seen by a doctor, at no cost to you, despite there being no confirmed issue and the fact that you did not have travel insurance. The entire cost was covered by the hotel, reflecting our sense of responsibility. In addition, upon your request, we went to considerable effort to ensure that Halal options were available in our menu, which required extra time and resources from our team. However, your husband chose not to make use of these options once they were provided. As for your other comments regarding cleanliness, the pool area, and food quality, we always take feedback seriously as part of our continuous improvement. Nevertheless, we are truly disappointed by the way some of these remarks were expressed, which do not reflect the experience of the vast majority of our guests. In my reservation they charged 30 Eur for environmental fee and during the check in they charged again 30 Eur for the same fee. After 2 months they refund the extra charge.

Verified review- Located close to the beach (approx. 3 minutes walk), in a quiet area at the end of Kalamaki resort. However, the beach is a turtle-protected beach and there are only 2 rows of sun loungers (20€/2 sun loungers and an umbrella), no sun lounger service, no showers. Close to restaurants, bars, shops; - Common areas (courtyard, corridors) neat and well maintained; - Friendly staff (special mention to the cleaning ladies who are always smiling and have a kind word at every interaction); - Clean rooms, cleaned daily (towels replaced every 2 days) with furniture in good but insufficient condition (no closed closets, only open shelves. For normal length of stay (7 days) insufficient; - Good/reasonable sized bathroom and balcony with comfortable chairs; - Reasonably sized swimming pool.
- The “all-inclusive” or, as it gave us the impression, “all exclusive”. I start by saying that the concept of “all inclusive” is in total contradiction with the hotel's policy of charging extra for essentials such as the use of the safe (which is a small, antique one - with key) €25/week or pool towels (€3/towel + €10 returnable deposit/towel). What was probably left was to charge extra fee for air conditioning too; - Food: similar/identical breakfast every day. Lunch and dinner mediocre at best. Most of the time we preferred to eat outside the hotel, at restaurants in the area (special mention here for Vinaz restaurant). In fact, we had lunch and dinner twice in the hotel restaurant during a 7 night/8 day stay; - Drinks: decent beers, as is the wine. Juices are available on the bar, in 1.5l bottles (sometimes decarbonated, hot, etc - ice is also provided in frapiere on the bar). Cocktails made with local, not international drinks - pretty ok; - Baby seats in restaurants: sufficient, but dirty and sticky. Maybe at least once a day they can be cleaned; - Baby bed: mattress improvised from a blanket folded in two and wrapped in sheets. Cot in good condition, but lack of a proper mattress is a problem; - Lack of mosquito netting on the balcony door which didn't even close from outside, so if you stood on the balcony there was every chance that all the mosquitoes and other insects would get into the room - and also A/C not working with opened door; - The door at the entrance to the room was not completely sealed (gaps in the sides of the door, under the door, above the door), which allowed both insects to enter and sound to penetrate from the corridors; - Several times the towels received in the room were stained; - Lack of drying racks on the balcony;

Nevertheless, we will check the specific room you stayed in to ensure everything is in proper condition. Baby cot: The cot is in good condition and meets standard specifications. We regret if the improvised mattress did not fully meet your expectations and take your comment seriously. Highchairs in the restaurant: Thank you for pointing this out. We have already implemented stricter daily cleaning checks. As for the “all inclusive” experience, we understand that expectations can vary.
