Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GreeceWe were given a room on the 2nd floor, on the front side of the building. There is no elevator so we had to carry our suitcases and bags 2 floors up through the stairs. The balcony was nice and overlooking the beach but we had direct sunlight from 7 in the morning until 8 in the evening so we could sit outside only in the evening. The breakfast was basic. With a corner shower and a loose shower curtain, there is no way to manage to have a shower without turning the bathroom into a lake. There is no "do not disturb" sign so there is no way to sleep late since the cleaning staff will knock and enter the room after 10:00. We had to leave a note in the reception to not disturb us in the morning, the night before our last day.
Exceptional location, in front of the beach and walking distance to cafes and restaurants. Clean room, comfortable beds, parking area close to the hotel, and kind owners.

United KingdomThe room was a bit small but was more than compensated by the fabulous view.
The view from our balcony overlooking the sea was exceptional , The management of the hotel where more than helpful with all our questions and requirements, the rooms where cleaned daily and the towels and bedding replaced every 3 days. The room itself was a bit small but more than made up for this with the very spacious wrap around balcony situated on the 3rd floor at the corner of the building. Plenty of parking at the front and rear of the building . I can't comment on the breakfast as we dont eat until Lunchtime. We had a fantastic relaxing 2 week stay and will definitely return . Thanks to everyone at Hotel Korakakis Beach Hotel.

GreeceI only stayed for one night, and I realize there was a lot of work due to high season, however the staff could be more gentle, caring and communicative. Breakfast was a bit poor. The room I stayed in had a barred door covered by a curtain, which was a bit creepy.
Amazing location right in front of the sea. Checked in late and the staff would patiently wait for me. Managed to park right outside.

United KingdomThe room was a bit on the small side with limited room to open up suitcases. Also the bathroom was a bit basic and the shower head fitting was at navel height and the shower curtain wasn't long enough to keep water in the shower.
Friendly staff, clean bedroom & bathroom and great location across the road from the beach and close to shops & restaurants. Easy parking on street opposite hotel.

AustraliaBathroom needs updating especially the shower. The rooms need some furniture removed to make them easier to use. Beds need to be smaller to improve space in the room and definitely need to be made up properly for guests.
This property is very hard to rate properly. The location is absolutely incredible with gorgeous views and in such a beautiful village. We swam many times each day in the crystal clear calm water of the mostly sandy beach. You also need to keep in mind that the property offers all this at a modest price that includes a simple but generous breakfast. The hotel is very much past its best and if not updated soon, will definitely be somewhere you would probably not stay. The room was overstuffed with furniture. The beds were ok but the sheets starched and the beds not made up. You have to make your own bed with linen provided. The bathroom is small with a hand held shower that can’t be mounted anywhere, so showering is impossible. The lady owner works very hard and is kind but you do feel that you are in someone else’s home. Overall we loved our stay in Finikounta and for the money found the property to be adequate.

SpainNothing to say here.
The hotel is simple yet comfortable, and incredibly well located in front of an outstanding beach. The owners are charming and very kind. The area is really well serviced with restaurants and shops. We wanted to stay in Methoni but we didn’t find accommodation there, and after visiting it from Finikounta I would strongly recommend this alternative.
