The apartment was very clean and spacious with a fabulous view. The fully enclosed huge terrace, was perfect for my grandchildren to play, whilst we relaxed in the evenings.

We have a young daughter and we asked prior to staying if there was a tv as this was an important factor in us booking the property so that we could occasionally keep her entertained to give my wife and I a break to sit out and enjoy the view. The tv didn’t work, it would be great if this could be more modernised and upgraded to a fully functional smart tv to allow this. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again if this was addressed.

Lovely, clean & modern flat on the seafront in the heart of Elounda with a wonderful terrace overlooking the sea and the island of Kalydon, comfortable beds & everything we needed. We really loved it here. It's a little tricky to find as the name isn't on it yet. You need to approach it from the sea-front & look for GMG Constructions. If arriving by car come about 50m past Rakomelo on the seaside lane. If arriving on foot there are steps down from the main road, eg next to the small supermarket Zaharenia There is private parking but you may want to check it out first if you have a long or large vehicle - coming out onto the narrow sea-edge lane could be stressful. We were able to park back along the sea front lane (to the south)

We have been to elounda several times now and this apartment was the perfect location! Close to all amenities. Lots of supplies left in the apartment like coffee and washing up supplies. The only thing to note is that the due to the beautiful seafront position and orientation, the balcony gets sun in the morning but then is shaded from lunch time. Cannot be changed but worth knowing if you're a sun lover, but the beach is a 3 minute walk with sun loungers.

Perhaps the inclusion of a toaster and microwave, although we managed without them. We could not use the parking place. The drive was too steep for the hire car, would be ok for a 4x4 vehicle as more ground clearance.

The location right on the waterfront was excellent. Easy access to the town, restaurants and walks. Property was spacious and very clean, 2 changes of linen during our 2 week stay.

One bedroom didn’t have air conditioning

The location is perfect being right on the waters edge. Some rough steps down outside to swim just across the promenade. A large sun terrace facing NE is CNN great for breakfast and in shade from about midday.

By no means a criticism, as the place is just great. A little bit more usage instruction on some of the items would be helpful. Such as the Aircon units, there are 3 in the property. The washing machine and dishwasher too, whilst both quite standard in their operation, ( not everyone can read Greek) . Also so many consumables are provided , I did not know what to feel free to use and to replace. I.E. tissues, bug zap liquid refills, bin bags etc...

The location is great for bars and restaurants but still very quiet, everything that you would need is provided for your use. The place is very clean and well kept, The apartment is spacious and light, the view from the large terrace is beautiful. You can walk 20 yards and swim in the sea.

It’s not so much things we were unhappy about, but worth a mention. We were à party of three, which meant one had a room without air conditioning and it was stifling hot even with windows open. Perhaps a mobile unit could be installed or à fan on the ceiling. There was a notable lack of welcome pack (milk, black tea etc), when you get in after a long day travelling at 3am there are no shops open. The front door lock is very tricky, don’t give up!. Finally, only two sun loungers for a property that sleeps at least 6 and we were a party of 3. As I say not complaints but things to consider as we worked around these.

Thé location and the amount of space available was great. Thé parking space though steep was essential. Thé location was perfect with stunning views. We’ve been coming for many years and like this location for proximity to the village and restaurants. We were offered a mid week clean which was nice though not essential for us..
