Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Loved staying at Lefteris! Brilliant location so close to main shops/restaurants/markets etc. Only a short walk from the port which is easily doable with cases. Area is so clean throughout and well looked after. Has everything you need. Quiet at night and also has a lovely roof terrace to sit.

CanadaFor the same price on other islands you get amazing quality. But this is Mykonos. Space is small, there is little service, you can’t really order anything to eat or drink on the balcony with beautiful view…
Just to be clear, my review is based on the fact it was Mykonos. If it was anywhere else the value would be much less. Having said that, it was clean, quiet, and we had a good night sleep. It was easily accessible to port and social places. The breakfast was extremely simple for Greece but they got it right…a perfectly good do-it-yourself coffee machine, real butter and my favourite apricot jam with the toasts. It’s a limited service place, but the owners/managers when you meet them are very helpful and kind. And it’s clean.

CyprusMany stairs until we reached the property.
It was great probably recently renovated a very standard room for Mikonos great staff. They were very helpful. The property is located in a pretty central place, but it was a bit difficult for us to find you even using GPS and there were a lot of stairs a lot of stairs we had to carry our luggage up the stairs in order to reach the property. It was really quiet. We didn’t realize any any noise from the outside and which is very surprising for me to ask and it was very convenient for one night stay. The property was spotless very clean.

United StatesThe bathroom was small, designed so shower water gets outside the shower. But this is not a big issue.
The double room was big enough. The room has it's own outdoor seating area, which was very nice for breakfast. There is also a shared balcony with a wonderful view of the city, the island, and the sea. The hostess was very nice and accommodating, and everything in the hotel was clean and bright.

IndiaNot much not to like. If I had to mention something I would say that it could do with a full length mirror in the room and a hand held bidet next to the pot. if you are coming with heavy bags, be aware that there are steep steps leading up to the property if you are walking up from the old port. If you come by taxi it is a few steps down. All in all a very comfortable stay.
Well designed, comfortable bed, good shower, spotlessly clean, cleaning every day, well equipt kitchen, coffee pods and nibbles every day. Just a 2 min walk down stairs into the beautiful streets of Mykonos.

United KingdomWhile our overall stay at Lefteris Hotel was enjoyable, there are a few things future guests may want to be aware of to plan their visit more effectively. The room we stayed in had a minor issue with the shower—water tended to overflow easily and spill across the bathroom floor. It wasn’t a major inconvenience for us, but it’s worth noting, especially for more extended stays. Although the hotel is located very close to the heart of Mykonos Town—which is a major plus—it’s situated in a slightly hilly neighbourhood. This means you’ll likely have to go up and down some steep stairs to reach it. For us, it wasn’t a problem at all, but it might be a consideration for those with mobility concerns or heavy luggage. Getting to and from the nearby car park is relatively straightforward, but please note that there is a steep hill. The convenience of having a car on the island outweighed the extra steps for us, especially when it came to exploring beaches and less touristy spots. One thing to be mindful of is that SKYBAR, a lively venue known for its music and nightlife, is located right next to the hotel. While it can get loud in the evenings, it surprisingly didn’t bother us. Light sleepers may want to bring earplugs, just in case, or ask for a quieter room if available. Finally, the local bus stop with connections to the airport is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. It’s manageable, but if you’re carrying a lot of luggage, navigating the narrow, cobbled streets of Mykonos Town can be a bit of a challenge. A taxi or pre-arranged transfer might be more comfortable in that case. Despite these minor inconveniences, we still had a great time at Lefteris Hotel. The location, views, and hospitality more than made up for the minor drawbacks.
Our stay at Lefteris Hotel was a wonderful experience, made even better by its unbeatable location right in the heart of Mykonos Town. Being so centrally situated meant we were just steps away from a wide variety of shops, restaurants, and the charming winding streets the island is known for. It was the perfect base for soaking in the lively atmosphere of the town without needing to rely on transport for everyday exploring. The room itself was a good size for a couple, cosy yet comfortable and clean. The facilities throughout the hotel were spotless and well-maintained, giving us a strong sense of care and attention to detail. One of the highlights was the rooftop balcony. It offered a stunning panoramic view of the town below and the sparkling Aegean Sea in the distance. It quickly became our favourite spot to relax in the evening and take in the beauty of Mykonos from above. The hospitality at Lefteris was also a standout feature. The hotel staff, including the owner, were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. From local recommendations to accommodating any requests, they made sure we felt well looked after throughout our stay. We chose to rent a car during our trip, which made it easy to explore the island’s beaches and villages beyond the town. While there is a convenient car park close to the hotel, please note that it incurs a daily cost of €15, which may be a consideration for budget-conscious travellers. Compared to taxis, which are limited and cost a lot more. Overall, Lefteris Hotel offered an ideal mix of comfort, convenience, and genuine Greek hospitality. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on our next visit to Mykonos.

United KingdomWe loved the property! The host was very helpful with instructions and provided us check-in details before our arrival. The place is easy to find and most of the tourist attractions are nearby. You can stroll through the city with lovely lane views. Best restaurants and other shops are very close by. Lefteris has a beautiful view of the city. We were able to catch the mesmerising sunset from our hotel rather than going anywhere else. Also rooms are exactly as shown in pictures and is squeaky clean. The host and staff are great and very friendly, there was a timely room cleanup and provided us with complimentary breakfast/snack items. Highly recommended to travellers for stay.

United StatesLots of noise from the roof with furniture shifting around in the wind (high winds every night), but Lefteris corrected the matter just as soon as I informed him.
