How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewStella the receptionist was so kind and very accomodating. She upgraded our stay to a better room at no cost. The location is walking distance to market square and all the tourist spot in Santorini. Everything u need was just a short walk. The hotel cute and classy and the swimming pool was a bonus to relax at night. 10mins ride to the airport... This will be our place to stay whenever we are at Santorini. Thank u Stella for everything From:. Vancouver Canada

Verified reviewThe hotel is super well located, has everything you need and a nice breakfast.
The bathroom is really small and the whole floor gets wet when you shower.

Verified reviewOur stay was excellent! Everything was spotless, the pool was wonderful, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The location was perfect: close to everything, so we didn’t even need a car. The staff were extremely polite and welcoming, and the room was cleaned daily with fresh towels provided. We were very satisfied and would definitely stay here again!

Verified reviewPerfect location , not many stairs if you stay in upper rooms, very friendly staff, clean room
Uncomfortable bathroom, quite mediocre breakfast, the pool and surroundings are unpleasant

Verified reviewThe staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the property was clean and well maintained.
The only drawback was the shower—it was quite small, and the water tended to overflow onto the bathroom floor

Verified reviewI liked that they changed the towels in our room frequently. It's rarely the case for a lot of hotels that are reasonably priced. The hotel is in a very nice location because despite being central, it's a bit hidden and therefore, it's not exposed to any outside noise. The pool is beautiful and the architecture is very soothing with its gorgeous white and blue.
Some people sit by the pool at night, sometimes very late, and start talking and some even go for a swim despite the rules mentioning strictly that you cannot do that past a certain hour. You can easily hear them if you are in one of the rooms nearby. It's not the hotel's fault obviously, but I wish certain people were more mindful. It was still very quiet overall and upon discussing with said people, it was possible to have a quiet atmosphere.

Verified review- Staff - Location (do not rely on google maps!) - Comfort - Since we got there earlier than the checking time, we were permit to stay there until the room was ready (very kind from their standpoint)
- We struggled a little bit to find the right location because we follow google maps and it is wrongly placed. The best way is to follow the Main Street and pay attention to the streets on the right side. As soon as you realize, after a 8 to 10-min walk you will find the sign.

Verified reviewA charming place a few steps away from the main square in Fira yet it's pretty quiet. Best price-quality ratio! A complimentary breakfast served by lovely ladies - special thanks goes to Stella, you're the best - thank you for everything! There is also a swimming pool of a decent size as well as a nice terrace where you can enjoy a beautiful view, take a sunbath, watch a sunset etc.
I just wish there'd be a buffet breakfast with more options other than having the same plate every morning, not a big deal though since it was pretty good. Also, bigger bathroom or at least another curtain would be nice so that one doesn't flood the floor with every shower taken.

Verified reviewThe pool and the location is absolutely amazing! If you wanted a relaxed day you could sleep by the pool. If you wanted to see the night life, you are 6 minute walk from the number 1 club in Santorini. 8 minute walk to the edge of the city to see the beautiful sunset. Amazing air conditioning as well!
The walls and doors aren’t soundproof. If you are a light sleeper it will be difficult to hear other travelers come in and out of their rooms throughout the night. All conversations you have within the room will be heard in the hallways. The shower is very old and water temperature is inconsistent. You will be showering and it will be scorching hot and jumps to freezing cold. You are not allowed to flush toilet paper down the toilets.

Verified reviewGood location, in centre
They seemingly are saving on renovations that should be done. The room, furniture and facilities were quite old, shower faucet broke, however the staff was good about it.
