Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe pool bar, was expensive then realised that they were adding 15 euros tip on and not giving recites until we realised and done the math. The owner sits on the till and you can see the staff are clearly afraid of her, she didn’t hesitate to tell them off in-front of of guests. You could see how humiliating it was for them. Also we asked for salad instead of fries with a meal, they stated there was no swaps. Also another owner worked on reception, she was just as rude to staff and guests on the front desk. Felt really uncomfortable Our room was £412 plus 28 euros for 3 nights, the room was shabby for that price, bathroom door didn’t stay shut, mould around the shower, toilet role holder hanging off the wall, mirror in bathroom needed replacing and old air conditioning unit which was intermittent. For the cost for 3 nights I was expecting higher quality.
The pool was great although like other hotels had to be up crack of Dawn for a sun bed, no life guards isn’t great.

United KingdomThe deluxe room was a little small for a family of 3, but it was man perhaps a little understaffed, but this was not noticed due to the clear hard work and dedication of the staff. There is some investment needed - this hotel must be pulling in good money in the area and time for the owner to complete some of the upgrade works, fix some of the broken tiles etc - this is 3*++ in my view, but has 5* potential.
The staff worked extremely hard, the place was immaculately clean - almost Disney level of cleanliness. Big mention to Kostaz and Dionizia in the kitchen, breakfast setup - they make Barcelona look average as a team. They knew each others role and their own, very very helpful and made breakfast service look easy, huge thanks for great breakfast, without fail every day. The pool options for the deluxe rooms, depending on your room, was excellent - plunge, private deluxe room only pool or the main pool which was 5*. Well situated to walk to the beach and local restaurant, night life, which was fun, but not overly loud. A very very enjoyable family holiday at this hotel - we would certainly go back.

AustraliaDrains in the bathroom smelled awful, staff a very bixed bag. Some good, some dismissive and arrogant. The charge for the air con remote was over the top. Never encountered an air con remote charge anywhere in the last 20 years in Europe, USA or Asia.

AustraliaOur air conditioning stopped working all the time on 2 levels even though we paid extra for it . We wasted so much time going back and forth and it kept tuning off not allowing us to sleep in the heat . No pool towels provided by resort so had to go buy them . Pool sunbed are all worn out and some pillows are torn and worn.

United Kingdomhotel staff were ok. room was tended to everyday of a 3 day break but not really cleaned (used glasses and cups not replaced or washed) this wasn't an issue for us really. the nisos bar around the pool the staff. we're very friendly and helpful. although the hotel has had some very lovely upgrades it looks as though these have been done very quickly with lots of snagging issues. but if you look past this it really is a lovely hotel. This didn't ruin our stay and I am going to take my husband back here as I loved it so much
the location was great, lots of bars restaurants and supermarkets right outside the hotel. beach was a short walk away. very central to Zante town and kalamaki beach. taxis we used were very reliable. we used one local taxi firm all weekend who was incredibly helpful breakfast was good. room was lovely deluxe family with an upstairs and downstairs. 2 showers, 2 toilets. they come and take food and drinks orders from the sunbed.

GermanyBreakfast was not good. The hotel seems to be renovating part by part, so there are parts, such as the reception area, which are in need of an update.
Our room was excellent; balcony with hot tub, 2 floors with newly renovated rooms, 2 bathrooms. The pool area is awesome, although the water in the pool was freezing (which it of course is end of October).

Finlandas a Greek I islandhop every single summer. neverever in my entire life, nowhere, have I been charged extra for A/C, for this, and for that. just include them in the price and rise them so it doesn't feel like a scam. people travel with their own budget and not everone is prepared for suddenly paying extra for everything. there were not enough sun beds. everyone reserved them from early morning but still our towels were thrown to the ground twice. I wanted to start an actual fight for this but my children hold me back. hotel needs to fix this.
a great restaurant by the pool with the tastiest food and lots of options and good prices. beautiful bar with huge variety by the pool as well. good breakfast. helpful reception. amazing pool. swim up rooms excellent. perfect location.

HungaryWe were originally given an old room, but for an expensive extra charge, we could go to a modern, refurbished room. The breakfast was the same every day. The wifi is not very strong. The parking lot is small, sometimes it was difficult to find a parking space. Some staff members and guest were smoking around the pool which was very disturbing especially with our baby.
The staff is very friendly, especially in the restaurant. The chief lady at the reception desk is very friendly too. The location of the hotel is very good.

United KingdomThe staff seemed to charge for everything. They offered me an upgraded room and I went with it. I later learnt that my room was in the same upgraded block and it wasn't available. So they would've upgraded me anyway. This is what happened to my friend when she declined the upgrade. The following day they moved her at her inconvenience. They turned off my Aircon as apparently it wasn't paid for. Despite paying for a premium room on booking.com then an additional charge for an upgrade. Evening Bar staff seemed inconvenienced by serving us despite table service being the only option.
The new rooms in the D block were lovely. Hotel well located for a beach holiday, supermarkets and bars. Cleaners were lovely, so friendly and always smiling. Offered book swaps which is a great touch
