How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewThe only good thing is Location
The room was full of problems. The water leaking through out from the toilet and the shower. One day it looked the room was getting flooded. I had to use the beach towels in the floor. The drains have a disgusting smell. One of the days in the afternoon the light went I had to get someone. On the very last night we got locked out of the room because the battery went from the door. The private pool was dirty. The 7 nights I stayed they didn’t clean the room only changed towels daily and mop, but no bedding changed. The curtains were broken and the tap kept coming off. The WiFi wouldn’t work if you sat outside on the sun beds. The workers seem to be scared of the owner. 20 euros per night if you want AC. I refuse to pay that ridiculous amount of money, so I took my own mini fans which did the job and cheaper.

Verified reviewI paid the price for a 4* hotel and I received a room for a 2-3* that look like in a mountain resort. Attached you may find pictures of the exterior. The loby is ok, the pool also, but not the room I received. For dinner, a juice for children should be deliever, not only water. The manager is rigid, no chance to negociate anything.

I absolutely do not recommend it. Music from the pool bar plays nonstop from 9:40 a.m. until at least 2 a.m. Loud music comes directly from speakers under the accommodation windows – it was impossible to sleep or even sit peacefully on the balcony. At seven in the morning, you are woken up by the dining room preparing breakfast. No mosquito nets on the windows. Wi-Fi is terrible. Zero willingness to help at the reception. In 10 days, they were not able to fix the TV in the room – it didn’t work for the entire stay. The receptionist was even rude and offended when we asked for an explanation and compensation. The worst place I have ever stayed – for that money, a huge disappointment.

Verified reviewPool and pool bar was great and kept clean with comfortable loungers. Pool bar Staff friendly polite and attentive. The pool bar menu and food was excellent. Nice cocktails. We almost went half board but was glad we didn’t when we saw the half board food options were poor.
Very rude lady on reception mariella. Not welcoming and appears very annoyed to deal with any enquiries. The room we had was disappointingly unwelcoming. Bathroom dirty with mould, sewage smell from drains and no hot water from the shower for our whole stay. This was highlighted several times but not fixed. After the third time asking for sombody to come and fix this I was accused of making this up because nobody else in the block had complained of lack of hot water. Also our first night one of the beds had what looked like period blood on the sheets. I also got told this was not true even though I had a photograph of the stains. The cleaner made sure this was changed the next day. However, Towels were only changed once in 7 days which is pretty unhygenic since there is no place to hang towels to dry other than over the dirty plastic chairs on the balcony.

Verified reviewFrequent traveller honest review. The delux and superior rooms are very modern and upto date. Would definitely upgrade. Cleaned daily. Very clean standards. The air on cost €62 for 7 nights. It’s not normal paying for aircon but considering what I paid for 2 adults & 2 kids with breakfast included I didn’t mind paying. I wasn’t required to pay city tax as I think it’s included in the booking.com price. The breakfast was good plenty of choice and fresh food. The large pool area is open to the public. So you’re going to get a mixed variety of people in there but it’s a good large pool with music on all day, nice vibe. If you get a delux room you’re allowed to use the 2nd private pool hidden behind the delux building again is modern clean and peaceful. 10min walk to the beach. Surrounded by great bars shops & restaurants. Got everything you need on your door step. But I would definitely recommend hiring a car as there’s so many amazing beaches in Zante worth travelling too. Gerikas Beach is my favourite. We had a problem with aircon in our room d304. It wasn’t working, so I went to the reception 3 times and kicked off in the end I was introduced to the manager Yorta. Who offered us a free upgrade from the deluxe to the superior room which was great with freezing aircon. All rooms have a decent size fridge to stock up food and drinks. On the whole I would definitely come back. For 4 people in a delux room in the 6 weeks holiday with breakfast included i paid £1200 which I think is for nothing. I’d say the hotel is 4* but when you’re in the delux rooms and superior it feels like 5* accommodation.
In the main pool area you’re not allowed to take your own drinks and snacks. There’s waiters providing their service and they will tell you if they catch you using anything from the shop. The pool area belongs to the bar next door but residents from the hotel mainly use it. When I had a problem with the aircon the night staff a guy who had thinning hair (unsure of his name) very rude had to bite my tongue from telling him straight. All the other staff were great. Parking is small, we did find parking everyday but it is small and tight but you can also park outside on the main road with ease.

Verified reviewUpgraded to suite the day before I arrived, lady in reservations was fantastic in accommodating request. Room was fantastic, cleaners did not come until late afternoon but after asking if this could be changed, they did so straight away and came earlier in the morning. Pool was great as was the bar area. Hotel location was ideal for town and just a short walk to the beach
Not sure all the rooms were as great as the one we stayed in

Verified reviewThe pool was great although like other hotels had to be up crack of Dawn for a sun bed, no life guards isn’t great.
The pool bar, was expensive then realised that they were adding 15 euros tip on and not giving recites until we realised and done the math. The owner sits on the till and you can see the staff are clearly afraid of her, she didn’t hesitate to tell them off in-front of of guests. You could see how humiliating it was for them. Also we asked for salad instead of fries with a meal, they stated there was no swaps. Also another owner worked on reception, she was just as rude to staff and guests on the front desk. Felt really uncomfortable Our room was £412 plus 28 euros for 3 nights, the room was shabby for that price, bathroom door didn’t stay shut, mould around the shower, toilet role holder hanging off the wall, mirror in bathroom needed replacing and old air conditioning unit which was intermittent. For the cost for 3 nights I was expecting higher quality.

Verified reviewThe staff worked extremely hard, the place was immaculately clean - almost Disney level of cleanliness. Big mention to Kostaz and Dionizia in the kitchen, breakfast setup - they make Barcelona look average as a team. They knew each others role and their own, very very helpful and made breakfast service look easy, huge thanks for great breakfast, without fail every day. The pool options for the deluxe rooms, depending on your room, was excellent - plunge, private deluxe room only pool or the main pool which was 5*. Well situated to walk to the beach and local restaurant, night life, which was fun, but not overly loud. A very very enjoyable family holiday at this hotel - we would certainly go back.
The deluxe room was a little small for a family of 3, but it was man perhaps a little understaffed, but this was not noticed due to the clear hard work and dedication of the staff. There is some investment needed - this hotel must be pulling in good money in the area and time for the owner to complete some of the upgrade works, fix some of the broken tiles etc - this is 3*++ in my view, but has 5* potential.

Verified reviewThe pool was nice. The room was good.
Do not go half board there is a very poor selection and it is in no way 4 star. The pool was nice but I didn’t see anyone check the quality of water etc. there was no entertainment. The pool insist people buy drinks and food from them and tell people they aren’t allowed to purchase drinks from supermarkets. There is little to do in the area and the bars are low quality. The WiFi is bad.

Had two twin beds instead of a double bed, and paying to use a/c feels a bit like a rip off. Very limited parking during high season

Verified reviewStaff on the desk where amazing, very nice cleaners, room cleaned everyday, the 2 bedroom apartment was massive, pool area was really nice, always found spare beds around the pool.
The apartment I stayed in definitely wasn't 4 star, being a 4 start hotel the air conditioning should have been free

Verified review🤮YOU WILL RUIN YOUR VACATION🤮
Think twice before coming here and ruining your vacation. This hotel shocked us with its greed, service quality worse than a 2-star hostel, discomfort, rudeness, and the unprofessionalism of the staff. We paid €1500 for 6 nights and here’s what we got in return: Someone defecated in the pool — we literally saw feces floating 💩 Air conditioning? Sure — but only for an additional fee of €9 per day. I’ve never seen such greed in any hotel in Europe. Want to stay cool on a hot island? Pay extra. €1500 isn’t enough for them. No mosquito nets — so your room will be full of mosquitoes, wasps, and ants that won’t let you sleep. Street noise — the hotel is located right on a road where bikers race all night long. The area is also boring, and the nearby beach is dirty. The pool is overcrowded, and everyone pees in it. No free sunbeds. Cheap, squeaky beds, thin see-through towels, a foul smell coming from the bathroom drains, and cleaning staff who barge into your room without knocking (there are no “Do Not Disturb” signs). A rude and unpleasant receptionist will snap at you with a fake smile on her face. I don’t just not recommend this hotel — I urge you to stay far away from it. There are plenty of other options on Zakynthos. Pick something else. I guarantee no one else will charge you extra for air conditioning 😂
Dear Mykyta Initially, we considered that you might be overreacting and we don't understand why you mentioned the air conditioning at the moment when it is clearly listed on the page. If you didn't notice it, that's not the hotel's fault, and next time, please pay closer attention to the amenities and the charges for each hotel to avoid claiming that you were unaware. Additionally, we do not see any mention of mosquito nets in the specific rooms. You chose a central hotel located on a main street with restaurants and bars nearby, aiming for tranquility in July? You could have opted for a villa further up in the mountains, where only cicadas are heard, but that would cost twice as much. Furthermore, you are staying on an island where mosquitoes are everywhere due to the proximity to the sea and the pools. The building you are in has never had any leftover debris unless it was yours, and the pool is private, with daily cleaning. You could have informed us about your preferred cleaning times and shown some respect to the housekeepers who work diligently to maintain the rooms. Also, you were quite rude during check-in, and you received the same attitude from our colleague who is here to assist you. Rudeness has its limits. We wish you a wonderful summer from all of us, with lots of love! Letsos hotel

Verified reviewWe had a fantastic stay! The two-floor room was absolutely gorgeous and perfect for a family of four — it gave us plenty of space to relax and enjoy. The cleanliness was top-notch: everything was spotless when we arrived, and from the second day onward, the room was cleaned daily, which we really appreciated. The location is superb — just a short walk to an amazing beach, making it ideal for anyone wanting a mix of comfort and seaside access. One of the highlights for us was the dinner buffet: it changed frequently throughout the week, and we rarely had the same menu twice — a great variety that kept things exciting every evening. We also really valued the air conditioning system — it was effective and wonderfully quiet thanks to the “silent” mode, which made our nights very comfortable. Initially, I thought the hotel might be closer to a 3-star experience, but after unexpectedly spending a night at another 4-star hotel (due to a flight cancellation), I can confidently say this hotel fully deserves its 4 stars — and possibly even more in terms of service and atmosphere. Highly recommended!
The pool cleanliness was slightly below expectations — at times, we noticed a visible film on the water, likely from sunscreen or other residues. It wasn’t a major issue, but as someone who is quite particular about water quality, it stood out to me. Additionally, the breakfast selection felt a bit repetitive over the course of the week. While the basics were covered, a bit more variety would have been appreciated to keep it interesting for longer stays. Lastly, the whirlpool experience was somewhat disappointing. The water had an unpleasant smell, possibly due to the chemicals used, which made it less inviting to use. With a bit more attention to these details, the overall wellness and dining experience could be significantly enhanced.

Verified reviewCheck out 😀 The pool „Nisos” was good but cold be more clean at jacuzzi area - moldy a little bit. No crazy people with towels at 5:30 am to book best sunned at pool. Nice staff at pool. They don’t push you for orders but they are around all the time so you can make orders quickly even if you are in the pool. Pizza fantastic 🤤
This is NOT 4⭐️ hotel!!!!! Over priced. Fotos not real. Smelly rooms. Half board - eat better for less. Dangerous screw in the floor of front door fridge. Eggs are not cooked properly and many shells. Moldy bread. Booked privet transfer - on the half way change car for bigger and took more people with out any information before or even asking and no discount or refund. We spend +£1600 for a week half board and we need to pay for A/C and safety box 🤦🏻♂️
