How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewThe views over the village, sea and acropolis is out of this world. We stayed in the junior maisonette with views of the acropolis and the sea, from both inside the bedroom and on the balcony,(not private, but did not detract from our stay) You are within a stones throw of the bars and restaurants, but no noise, lovely and quiet. It is steep walk down and back (comfy shoes only, not suitable for the elderley) but only takes a few minutes. For two of us, Room has everything you need, except a kettle, but we were given one on request. Bed is perfect , shower is perfect. Air con keeps the room at desired temperature. We were also loaned a parasol which was useful when going to the small beach nearby. V Crowded during the day( in august). Go very early or very late. Cleaners friendly and very efficient. All the staff are lovely and very helpful. At about 8.45am the old gents lead their donkeys down to the main square for a days work, (via the lane which runs passed the bottom of the cobbled steps) it's nice to watch them walk passed ,and you will be on your own.
No swimming pool , but the hotel across the road will let you in , 20 euros for 2 beds , A lovely family hotel , lots of kids , mostly British folks, staff are lovely there. There is also a bar towards the bus stop, which has a swimming pool, no charge to spend the day provided you buy some food/drinks there .. also nice and friendly , more locals there when we went. Don't leave food out , the ants will find it. Very crowded at the beaches, and in the village centre, ( in august).. But it's not long before you find where the quiet lanes are, and where your favourite bars are. Lots of day trippers.. Lots of cats, although they do no harm. Can be expensive in some bars and restaurants, But, as above, not long before you find the ones which you like , there is something for everyone. Mario's grill bar is very reasonable, also went to Lindos Restaurant which was good, We also went to Giorgios a few times, they do a mean club sandwich , and a great place to watch the world go by, and also they'll have the tv on for the big football matches. Supermarket Ena is good for some reasonably priced beers and wine, (go to the back for the fridge) Also, Sini Food Corner , does lovely takeaway pizzas.

Verified reviewAmazing!! Location, rooms and staff 10/10! So clean, so comfy, so kind and so friendly. Perfect location, just a short walk away from everything you need. All kinds of restaurants, fine dining, casual dining, mini marts, ice-cream, chemist and the best beach. Staff were super kind, friendly and eager to help in anyway they can. Highly recommend! We had the buffet breakfast on top only once but the location and view were incredible. Reception also lent us a beach umbrella at no extra charge.

Verified reviewFantastic room, beautifully clean, brilliant breakfast, staff very friendly and couldn’t do enough to help you. Bed was comfy, shower was excellent. The hotel is at the top of the hill in Lindos and the view from the roof terrace (which is the bar and breakfast) is incredible. Many of reviews mention that there are lots of steps around the hotel and to walk back from the centre, but if you can’t manage steps and hills Lindos isn’t the place for you anyway. I managed fine 5 months pregnant in August, so it’s really not that bad!
Nothing.

Verified reviewFabulous clean rooms with great facilities. Staff were amazing and could not do enough for you.
When booking I didn’t realise there were as many stairs. As a couple in our 70’s we found the climb from Lindos up to the Comfy Suites then steps within the property very tiring especially in the heat. This is not the properties fault. If you are fit it is the loveliest property which we would highly recommend.

Verified reviewThe place is located on this amazing cliff , built between the natural landscape , it is really unique .very quiet and relaxed atmosphere . The room that we took was very very nice , not very big but not small either , very “comfy” , the room was very clean and neat . Good air conditioning . The staff is truly wonderful , very kind and very helpful in any request . The breakfast - the view in the morning in unmatched , sunny , panoramic view over the town, acropolis and the sea , small and delightful breakfast buffet , the special omelette is quite good , cold brewed coffee is a specialty ! Very very short walking distance from the village center , 3-5 minutes , coming back up has some uphill and some stairs , but still is very close .
The water in the bathroom and the shower has a bad smell , that was the only thing that bothered us.

Verified reviewThe room was very comfortable and the staff were exceptional.
The location is up a pretty steep hill - it certainly keeps you fit! Not a place for anyone with mobility issues. Amazing views though.

Verified reviewThe location is great, just outside the chaos of the main 'street' of Lindos, but no further than a 5 minute walk from there. The views from the rooftop bar (where a very good breakfast is also served) are incredible. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. Access is easy by car from the car park just above the hotel. There will be some stairs, but you cannot go to Lindos and expect to avoid stairs.

Verified reviewA charming place with beautiful views. It was clean, comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast on the rooftop was a treat, with a nice variety of baked goods, fruit, and a choice of eggs. Just a note: if you have mobility issues, this property may not be ideal, as the reception, bar, rooms, and breakfast area are all on different levels. It’s close to Lindos Old Town and about a 15-minute walk to the acropolis—but be prepared for lots of steps!
