How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewEverything was amazing, the staff members remembering you, very friendly and welcoming! Really nice facilities, pool, sun beds and restaurant. We had really good time, the bar staff bringing drinks to the sun beds. Breakfast had really good selection of food.

Verified reviewThe views, furniture , cleanliness, pool, beds were all great. The cleaners were absolutely lovely and George on reception was so friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was not great, not much choice for hot food and inconsistent. Some mornings there would be granola in a tub, other mornings not, honey in a pot some days, others days not. The orange juice was just cheap from a carton. Some bar staff weren’t very friendly. There was constantly loud party music playing by the pool. It would be early morning breakfast and you wouldn’t be able to enjoy your breakfast and be peaceful because the music was so loud and intense. All through the day by the pool it was just drilling through your head when trying to relax or read a book. We asked three times during our stay if the music could be turned down . Twice we were ignored and the third time it was only turned down a tiny bit despite being the only people at the pool.

Verified reviewI travelled with my friend. We both have disabilitys. My friend is more than me. Even though the hotel is not designed for mobility scooters and special needs, all of the staff and the manager went out of their way to meet our requirements. They were all very understanding and helpful. They brought out food to our room so we could eat it on our terrace so that my friend did not have to go to the dining area. I was able to leave my friend for short periods and enjoy the pool, which was a very short walk from our apartment. And when we were able to use the sun umbrellas. Laying on the really comfy sunloungers and enjoying the pool was really nice and tranquil. And we appreciated them reserving the end two sunloungers so that my friend could park her mobility scooter next to it.
We stayed in the one bed apartment and sofa bed with a terrace. However, there was a separate dressing room that they could put a bed in, and this would have been a lot more comfier than sleeping on the single sofa bed. Also the terrace was so nice but it should have sunbeds there as well as the table and chairs. The pool and sunloungers were really awesome and so comfy, but because of the wind, we couldn't always have the umbrellas up, and my friend could not sit in the sun for very long. So having the terrace with shade was perfect it just lacked 2 sunloungers. The manager did give me a bean bag sunlounger, but with my knee and hip replacements, I struggled to get on and of it as it was low down, but I made it work, and I appreciated having it. But it was not suitable for my friend and so she had to make do with a chair.

Verified reviewIt was an excellent stay at Livin Mykonos. The property was very well designed. The breakfast was super, various and delicious. The location was also good, the hotel is close to everywhere by car. The parking lot is very convenient. And the best part was the staff working in the hotel! They are super friendly and helpfull, bar tenders, kitchen team, house keepers and the receptionists! Especially, George in the reception has literally made our stay great since he helped us with everything about our holiday plans; he has even made reservations to the beaches and restaurants for us, also he recommended new places and explained us everything we needed to know which made our holiday super comfortable! It is super nice to have someone helping you when you are in a foreign country. Everyday we asked for his help for something we needed and he was always there to solve our issues! Thank you for everything. I would go there again definitely!

Verified reviewThis is by far the most amazing hotel I’ve ever stayed at! From the beautifully designed interior and calm atmosphere to the incredibly polite staff and delicious breakfast—everything exceeded our expectations. We stayed in a ground-level room with a lovely balcony, which was perfect for relaxing. The pool area is absolutely stunning and made for the perfect spot to unwind after breakfast. The location is excellent—just a 15-minute walk to Mykonos Town and conveniently close to the airport. Do note that the walk involves going down and up a busy main road, which can be a bit challenging at night, but it didn’t bother us at all.
Everything was amazing.

Verified review1km from airport, a quick walk, good breakfast, you get a little bottle of water each day. Rental for the scooter directly in the hotel, very easy
No wifi in the rooms, taxi to airport is 40. Bar is extremely expensive, a shame but a supermarket is 2 minutes walk

Verified reviewWelcoming and polite staff. Great communication. Big clean room with all amenities and terrace with amazing view of the city/sea. Confortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Luggage storage and longer check-out stay busy the swimming pool area. Location close to the airport and not too far from the city. Option of transfer on request at reception.
Location is great if you have a car/scooter or if you like to walk (uphill from the city) -it was not a problem for us. However it is noted that buses stop (Drafaki) only on request to the bus driver and to get on you might need to walk down to Fabrika.
