Reviews of Lygdamis Downtown City 3 Star Hotel

We did not have the breakfast option but preferred to go to the local restaurant daily anyway. We loved or hosts, Irini and her uncle were so welcoming and helpful. Naxos was the best Island experience on our vacation.

The view from the room I suppose but only had to walk a half block to get it or go to the roof top.

Lygdamis is in a perfect location, right between the port/waterfront and the town square, making everything within easy walking distance. Eirini and John were very welcoming and patient, waiting for our arrival and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. The room was comfortable and fully equipped, providing a great night’s rest. They also gave excellent restaurant recommendations and helped arrange a taxi to the airport. We appreciated being able to store our luggage after check-out, which made our departure much easier. Naxos is quite a large island and really requires multiple days to explore, so we will definitely stay here again in the future. Highly recommended!

Location was perfect!! Irenei was fantastic to deal with - nothing was ever a problem & she was so sweet & friendly. The four beds were ideal for our group. The apartment was very clean & comfortable.

The roof top terrace didn’t look anything like the pictures! Possibly as the season was coming to an end? Could do with more accessible wall sockets - the need to charge is real!!

The owner's nice, Eirini, who is also the general manager, went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. Her friendly personality and desire to make us feel welcome was amazing. She answered all or questions took her time to make recommendations on what to see in Naxos. The hotel is easy to get to and is very clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable room, very clean and had small well equipped kitchenette. Local shops nearby eg bakery, market and a short walk to the beach.

The greeting from owner, an elderly man, was warm and charming. The receptionist was very friendly. The room was very spacious and there was a table in which I could place my laptop and work on it. The beds were comfortable. It is just next to the Old Town area, so you can walk right into the centre of town in one minute to enjoy the restaurant and cocktail lounges. There are flexible to extra hours which I used for the room because I checked out at around 3.00pm and was not charged the extra hours although the checkout time is actually 11.00am in the morning.

There is nothing that I dislike, and I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

The receptionist was very helpful. The apartament was clean and comfortable. We did not miss anything there.

The facility is quite old. There was a bad smell in the room for two days that hotel worked on (apparently due to the wind)

Really central for town and beach, very clean with good air conditioning. Beds were very comfortable. Slept so well. Helpful staff

The shower is awful. Cannot hang it on the wall. Very small with shower curtain. Terrible shower experience. Only stayed for 2 nights and didn’t wash my hair as very difficult

Very nice and comfortable accommodation, one of the most affordable I could find. Great for a one night stay for two people, and they let us check in early and store our luggage after checkout.

The host was very friendly. The location of the apartment to the town and beach was perfect.

The accommodation is right next door to a carpark which seems to empty after 12 midnight so alot of noise if the windows are open. Would suggest aircon on and windows shut for best night's sleep.

It’s perfect location. The room was cleaned every day! Characteristic marbled white floor! Staff were very helpful!

Old style basic hotel still with single glass panelled windows, next to a car park so we could hear noises in the night! The shower was too small and with 3 people showering everyday created a very wet floor!😫
