Very lovely apartment with amazing view of the village and sea.

The apartment we booked was not one in the picture on the site it was up a lot of stair and I mean a lot of stairs we could have taken a lower floor but didn’t have the views we wanted

Staying at Maistrali Studios was one of the highlights of my trip to Karpathos. The room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed — but what made it truly special was the warmth and generosity of the family who runs it. I felt at home from the very first moment. On the ground floor, their restaurant Anemoessa became my daily spot for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is fresh, delicious, and full of the real taste of Greece. The girls who welcomed me were always smiling, kind, and attentive. There’s a beautiful, light energy here — warm, feminine, and deeply caring.

Wonderful Location with very friendly and welcoming owners! Beautiful Beach, great restaurant at hotel , very good price value, to be recommended 100%!

We had the rooftop suite so it was pretty nice to walk outside and take in the beach/harbour view. The host was nice and helpful.

It was end-of-season so the breakfast was pretty basic (some groceries were provided). I'm sure it is better when the cook is around!

Shutters and windows could do with a bit of tlc. Didn't bother us but were noisy/stiff to open, which may have disturbed neighbours.

The view on the bay. But the balcony is not private but a passageway - and so not so quite. The apartment above looks better, with a detached terrace.

The flat -- for 4 people, so for a family -- was not, as it seemed, in the studios overlooking the waterfront fountain and the restaurant, but in a building behind, with many flights of stairs to climb to the top: strenuous, certainly not suitable for someone elderly or suffering from some problem. We found this out upon arrival, because it was not marked. So bad. The decor is a bric-à-brac of furniture all different, with a winter living room. The kitchen devoid of many things (we had to ask for 1 cup for making coffee!), with a very ruined countertop (but also the mirror and bathroom light). Never had housekeeping, and the apartment was not very clean. Breakfast, by 10 a.m., had to be done downstairs, so forced to go down and up the many stairs: poor quality (industrial fruit juice, bacon with honey, in turn salty things but all industrial).

Owners really nice.

Maybe the rooms need to be a bit renewed.

Property has a great location with sea view. It’s also very calm and nice. The fact that apartment had balcony was a big bonus for me. Facilities are very well maintained. The thing I liked the most was the kindness of the owner and willingness to help. I also liked that self-service breakfast was included in the price.

Anna and her family were welcoming and very kind. Anna waited for us until 00.30 due to a flight delay. The room was clean and comfortable with a beautiful terrace. Great breakfast and perfect location. It was a wonderful holiday, we will definitely return thanks to everything

My opinions about the hotel are as follows Employees: very helpful, well-intentioned hotel room: 1) When the air conditioner is turned on in the room, it sounds like there is an airplane inside the room, the outdoor unit located right next to the room makes a tremendous noise and the noise is so loud that even two people cannot talk among themselves. 2)bathroom/toilet: it was too small for 1 person, the second person cannot enter the bathroom. 3) bed: if you have a habit of turning left and right while sleeping, the bed makes a tremendous noise. restaurant 1. breakfast ok 2nd dinner. Fish prices are similar to Mykonos prices, even the tzaziki seems a little diluted, I wouldn't recommend it at all.

Nothing to complain about, everything was just perfect! The host, Anna, upgraded us (on low-season) to a room that had the most amazing views to Diafani beach. Bed was very comfy, breakfast was modest but had everything we needed. I read some reviews earlier about small bathrooms, and yes, it was quite small, but you fit just perfectly to shower and to do your morning routines. :) Highly recommended! Thank you for a lovely and very cozy stay! ❤️

Location and comfortable bed

Lack of flexibility fir breakfast. This island is made for hiking and guests usually wake up early. The owner stated the breakfast was available only at 8.30/9 even because we were only 3 guests, she said.a bit disappointing

I thought their restaurant had amazing food cooked by the owners daughter. Some of the best I've had in Greece. The location was excellent. Very quiet area.

We added some days on to our booking before we arrived and instead of staying in the room we booked, they took us up so many stairs (150) to an apartment they own. I can understand the difficulty of sorting out rooms when we added more days but when they put us into the apartment I was so upset as I have never seen such dirty, grimy accommodation. We asked was it possible to move to another room but they said it was full. If we had stayed in the room we booked, even for just the original number of days, it might have been a different story.
