This is a lovely family business run by two wonderful hosts Ellen and Makis. The location is great, it's on a quiet street in Poros so very quiet at night but yet just 2-3 minutes away from the beach and restaurants. The property has several street parking spots which is really useful if you are renting a car. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable, immaculately clean and well equipped with everything you need. (mine even had a kitchinette). The value for money ratio is fantastic. I would stay here again without hesitation and thoroughly recommend it if you are looking for a place to enjoy your holiday in Kefalonia.

Nothing comes to mind. Perhaps the AC is a bit slow to kick in but not a major problem.

We were in the same accommodation last year, we liked it so we decided to come again. The accommodation is in a quiet place, good for sleeping. There is a lot of greenery. The hosts Max and Eleni are wonderful people, ready to help if you need anything (they helped us with booking the ferry), we enjoyed their watermelons, and Eleni is a true master at making apricot jam. On this occasion, we would like to thank them for making our vacation even more beautiful. For those who need a complete vacation, this accommodation is the right choice.

Everything was fine.

We had a lovely balcony that looked out over the sea which was lovely especially at dawn. The access the the swimming pool down the hill was great.

The shower cubicle was a little small.

The couple running this place, Makis and Elle, is very friendly and forthcoming. In an 'ungreek way' the place is extremely well maintained. The facilities are excellent and are clearly being upgraded regularly; with an amazing eye for detail. Besides, the hygiene is absolutely superb. Besides, the views are great; the garden is phenomenal and clearly is maintained with the greatest care. Makis and Elle will gladly share the fresh fruits that this garden is producing daily.

One minor point: We are not really fond of the type of matrass, where a slight movement of one person is immediately transmitted to the other person.

Makis & Ellen were amazing. They treated us like family. They upgraded our room and we had a fantastic time due to the location of the apartment.

Close to beach and tavernas but very quiet. Great apartment with everything you might need. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend .

Excellent location of the facility - although it is on a small hill, it is not difficult to reach the beach on foot. Nicely maintained yard. Although I'm not a fan of the ground floor in this accommodation, it's also an advantage because of the yard where you feel completely safe. Very friendly and professional hosts. Daily cleaning of the apartment, change of bed linen and towels for 3 days, comfortable beds. The apartment is spacious and airy. View of the sea across the yard, through orange, tangerine and palm trees. A peaceful environment, without the noise of cars, a large number of people and stray dogs. Restaurants, promenade and shops within a ten minute walk. For every recommendation.

A beautiful view of the sea, but at the same time located in a quiet area, very close to the beach and the waterfront with taverns. In 5 minutes you are on the beach, on foot. The cleanliness is exemplary, everything is changed more than frequently, towels, linen, and last but not least, the hosts are extremely welcoming and want to help you with any problem you may have. The location is very well maintained and it can be seen that the owners are very attentive to details. If the older comments complain about the lack of mosquito nets, the problem is solved. There are modern, folding nets at each door to the balcony. We initially booked 7 nights, but we extended our stay because we felt good. Thank you Makis & Ellen, you were very good hosts!

Very nice apartment. The hosts Makis and Ellen were very kind and friendly. The whole place is very clean and comfortable. The room was cleaned regularly. There is a small but very nice garden in front of the house. The Poros beach is also very nice with not too much crowd. There are several beach bars, but also a lot of free space. Poros is a nice little town, perfect for a peaceful vacation. Many good restaurants along the beach. We really enjoyed our time in Makis Studios.

Everything was fantastic: we had the deluxe supérieur apartment and it was absolutely perfect for us as a family of 3! It was spacious, well equipped and had a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea. The hosts are very very kind and make your stay very comfortable. The location is super, with the sea being a 5mn walk.

Liked everything

The location was great, quiet area, the sea very close, the shops (bakery, markets, tavernas, etc.) near to accommodation. The cleaning was every day. Towels, sheets were changed every 2-3 days. The studio is fully equipped with everything what you need. You can also enjoy the sea view from balcony. This accommodation has been a really good choice. We felt like home...we got everything what we expected. The owners - Ellen & Makis are very nice people. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and wonderful! ...and thank you again for a small surprise by our leaving :)

Beautiful stay in a lovely simple garden studio. The bed was really comfortable. Studio was cleaned daily and Makis and Ellen were very caring hosts.

There was nothing we didn’t like. The property is a short walk from the beach area up a small hill, so if you don’t like hills then not for you! Not a problem for us at all and we loved the location.

Makis & Ellen were expecting us, as usual they were pleased to see us. the room was clean and the right size, everything worked in the room. makis & ellen clean the apartment every 2 days including bedding etc

Amazing view and so close to the beach! There are plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from. Ellen and Makis where very friendly and respectful of our privacy. Rooms were cleaned daily which was a lovely surprise. We also got fresh apricots from the garden which was a great and a delicious addition. I would recommend to anyone wanting to explore Kefalonia.

Nothing, beds were a tad hard for our liking but we slept well!
