From the moment we arrived Anna was so welcoming and warm. The views were spectacular, with a bus outside to bring you into Mylopotas or the port, stopping at every point in between only 3 euro. The property itself has a walking trail down to beach which only takes 3 minutes.

Everything was perfect

Really clean, great sea views, very friendly staff and owner. It is convenient with bus to go to the port or to the old town, the bus station is 5min away. The beach is 5-10min walk down.

The place is amazing. Nice view. Very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful especially the owner Anna she is very nice person and freindly I will tecommended to all my friends. I supose to stay 5 days but extended to 10 days.

Room cleanliness could be improved

We had a wonderful stay at Manthos Place in Ios, Greece. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach and close to all the best spots on the island, yet still tucked away enough to enjoy peace and quiet. What really made our stay special was the incredible hospitality from the owner Anna) and her two sons (Dimitri and Vengalis). From the moment we arrived, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. They were always available to offer recommendations, help with any requests, and ensure we had everything we needed. Their warmth and kindness truly made us feel at home. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. We can’t recommend Manthos Place enough for anyone looking to experience the beauty of Ios with the added touch of genuine Greek hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!

Loved everything

The staff at Manthos place were amazing! Loved everyone at the hotel as they were so helpful with anything. Brilliant location and the taxi service was the best!

It was advertised as a bar by the pool, but I was told it wasn't open at the minute as not many people there. The owner when passing on two occassions did offer to sell me water, etc, from the bar but it would have been nice not to have to get changed and go to the supermarket when I needed a drink or a snack.

I loved how close to everything this was but not too close to the busy party places. Stunning views from the bedroom. Air con to die for!! The pool area was very clean, and pool itself was just perfect.

No kettle to make a drink bearing in mind it was. 5 minutes downhill for facilities.. it was desperately needed, it would easily sit on the fridge

Great location. Friendly staff. Easy walk to the beach and the bus stop to town was right out the front. We loved our little verandah and the views across the sea. The room had a small but the price makes up for that!

We loved our stay here! It is in such a beautiful location with views of the sea and Rocky Mountains behind. It felt really peaceful. The pool was a big bonus! Our room was very comfortable which had amazing sea views from our bed. The staff were also very lovely :)

Very nice accommodation. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The location is perfect as it is a 5 minute walk from the beach, mini markets and restaurants. The pool is lovely and the view is amazing! Would definitely recommend this accommodation it is lovely and the staff are very nice and helpful!

We loved staying here. Fantastic location, peaceful, close to the beach, with Panoramic views and a beautiful poolside area. Anna the host is wonderful. We will always choose this place when we visit Ios. We will definitely be coming back!!

The beds weren't comfortable and there were no cups, cutlery, plates ect. at all in the room.

Location was great, the pool and pool bar was a great addition. The staff were so friendly. Short walk to the beach, super close to bus stop.

I think more crockery could be included in the room such as more glasses and bigger size tea cups. If a few tea bags and some sachets of coffee were provided, it would have elevated my stay. A bottle of water in the fridge would also be great.

The property was very well located. An easy walk to Mylopotas beach and also to the Chora if the heat isn’t too hot. It was also very close to the bus stop which was great. The staff were amazing and we had a broken tap which was fixed within 15 minutes! I loved my stay here
