Reviews of Margarita Hotel 2 stars

The convenience to the main city of Fira (two blocks away) and to the caldera (same distance) the pool was a great add on.

This was our second time in a row at this hotel and we really loved it! All the staff was friendly with lots of suggestions about the island and its shops, festivals and other villages. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options - greek food included. Caldera's view and the sunset was just 2' away. Our favourite spot was the swimming pool with its relaxing vibes and the always accommodating Maria :) Also, Efrem, the manager was always on the go for us as he immediately accomodated us when a slight issue arised. On the busiest day of the summer (15/8 as there are lots of festivals around the island) and during the late evening. We really appreciate it! We will come back again soon!

I couldnt fault this hotel, we have had thee most amazing holiday of our lives So centrally located just one street behind the caldera/ sunset views , just a 2 minute walk to the caldera edge and all the restaurants, a 10/15 minute walk onwards way to fira and the same the other way to imeroglovi , i couldn’t recommend here enough its been amazing, and the pool area is so so boujee and always enough beds which are so so comfortable, the pool side bar is brilliant delicious cocktails and restaurant quality food - you have to try their chicken gyros The staff are so friendly and offer full advice on the area and trips on checking in but no pressure at all to book anything A definite highly recommend from me

I couldn’t fault a single thing

Good location. Close to everything. Pool was a good size with comfortable chairs. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast with all the essentials. Very clean rooms.

The only negative was the bathroom was tiny.

Location was ideal for the 6 minute walk into Thira. Staff were helpful and the buffet style breakfast was really nice 👌

Noisy at times due to traffic

They arranged pickup from the port which was a nice bonus. The area was not in the middle of the tourist section which was great. Short walk to restaurants and stores. The hotel arranged for a rental car company to drop off and pick up our vehicle at the hotel which was great. Free parking was available behind the hotel. Breakfast was included which was great. Although the room was a little small the huge balcony looking out over the ocean was a real treat. Very safe neighborhood.

A spacious and cute hotel. Perfect for those who want more than a hostel style accomodation and want basic breakfast. Perfect location, close to Fira main town where you can connect to otyer towns by bus and behind the hotel have amazing restaurants, rooftop bars and beautiful spots to take photos.

No kettle in rooms.

The location was very good, and there is a free car park behind the hotel. The pool was nice and always clean and Efrem at reception made our stay even better, due to some of his recommendations and was very accommodating and helpful.

They gave me an upgrade to the deluxe suite and it was really nice :) Beautiful hotel, comfortable bed and overall stay was great. Also, good location - walking distance from Fira. I definitely recommend it!

The hotel is near of many things and staff is very nice.

Superb location, very comfortable suite with a view. The pool area is very nice and it's ten minutes walk to centre of Fira. Great breakfast and staff are very friendly and welcoming. Parking was easy.

Since the hotel wasn't crowded at all, the team at the reception updated us. A very nice surprise at our arrival, we want from a normal room to a suite. The breakfast buffet was very good with a lot of different options. The swimming pool area is very cozy and very well exposed to the sun.

Not the closest hotel from the city center of Fira, but I discovered later the hotel is very close to the best view for the sunset with less people.

Great location very close to everything. We had everything we needed and the host waited up for us for a very late checking.

The staff were so friendly and waited until we arrived which was very late. Our room was spacious, very clean and the hotel well situated. The breakfast was excellent with a good variety of hot and cold food. It’s a short walk into Fira town. Nice swimming pool area.
