Amazing hospitality. Michalis was a great host!

Very modern & nicely decorated villas, with magnificent views of the Chora, nice terraces (for breakfast & night drinks), a small outdoor jacuzzi and spacious rooms. Breakfast was cooked every morning based on our desires. Best part was the location as we were walking to Chora every single day (around 10’ walk), enjoying the splendid views. Everyone was very polite and helped with any question we had.

The whole experience from pick up to drop off was first class. The charming villa is beautifully decorated, spacious and extremely well equipped. The family run business is what really made our stay special. From home cooked breakfast pastries and extra help and advice getting around the island, you are made to feel welcome from the outset. Would definitely return.

Absolutely nothing!

The stay at Melograno Villas was wonderful. We had a very comfortable duplex apartment in a typical Greek style and a lovely hot tub on the terrace with a stunning view of the Kastro. The kindness of Maria and Kali were touching. Every morning with great joy they served us a homemade breakfast with Greek delicacies of all kinds: sweet, savory, fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice, eggs, bacon, exceptional fresh bread. For a week we were served different delicacies every morning, every day a triumph of different flavors from the previous day. Flavors, aromas and recipes linked to the territory. An unforgettable experience like in few places today you can live. Michail welcomed us with great hospitality and drove us back to the airport with amiability like he was a dear friend or relative. An extraordinary family that allowed us to spend a dream week full of beautiful emotions on a magical Greek island.

Everything was great right from arrival - the villa is amazingly located, dominating Chora with a great view and peaceful vibe. It's spacious, well decorated and extremely comfortable. The best is the hospitality of the hosts, which made all the difference to our stay and made us discover a lot more of the island.

Melograno villa made our honeymoon perfect. Service was amazing and also the room was very clean and beautiful. Breakfast also was the best!! We are thankful to host and wish we can stay in next year again!!

It's easy to fall in love with Astypalaia when you are in Melograno villas. The interior is very impressive, there are hundreds beautiful details. Very comfortable bed, nice kitchen, and that magnificent view from both terraces... If it's windy - the upper terrace is completely sheltered. The owner Michalis is a perfect host - he took us from the airport, gave us advices for the beaches and taverns, the last day came with us to the airport and help us for everything. And one more thing - the breakfast every day was maybe the most tasty and nice that we ever had all these years in Greece. Thank you, Michalis - for this unbelievable pleasure! We can't wait to come back again!

Everything was fantastic!

The hosts were exceptionally friendly. I love Greek hospitality! The VILLA was opulent and too much villa for a solo traveller but indeed was little luxury I was willing to pay for. Beautifully designed with warm and welcoming interiors. What I liked the most was waking up to first light and moving to the sun bed to complete my sleep watching the stars fade as the sun rose behind the mountain. Having a soak in the jacuzzi at the end of the day was also wonderful. I was well fed at breakfast and had constant support / communcation with the host who willingly and very kindly guided me back to my villa at 10pm at night when I was a little lost! She also helped with booking of an island hopping day trip. Hassle free. Took the thinking out of my trip and I was in VERY good hands!

I slipped getting out of the jacuzzi due to the smooth paint surface. A bath mat specifically for the jacuzzi or some kind of safety sign would be good. I generally look out for potential risks but in this case I didn't.
