Great location and very close to the beach, Cafes and restaurants

Overall the place was great. But we did have one major complaint: there was an infuriating and unworkable design to the electric/locks/doors. The electric and A/C would only work if all doors were closed. We were 4 people, and had 2 balconies, so usually at least one person wanted to be sitting out on the balcony. However, the design was such that either everyone had to be on the balcony or everyone inside. I know it's hard to explain but, the balcony door would only open from one side, so someone would be locked out if they went there on their own and closed the door. If anyone opened the door to go to the balcony then all the electric, wifi, and A/C would turn off. This was quite uncomfortable. I suggest the host just get rid of the card/lock/electric system, and also install balcony doors with handles on both sides. I understand they don't want us to run the A/C when everyone is on the balcony (even though someone else may want to be sleeping in the bedroom then), but we did need the electric to work even when someone was on the balcony.

The location is almost right on the beach (there is just a restaurant/shop between the rooms and the beach). It is convenient having the shop/restaurant in the same building. The rooms had plenty of space and were comfortable. There were cute baby kittens in the garden. The beach promenade has many more restaurants and activities, just minutes away. The beach was good quality, with good sand and clean water, and not overly crowded. Parking is available. There was a side sea view from the balcony.

There were no mosquito nets at the windows and doors. The balcony doors could not be closed from outside. Except for the two bedroom apartment we rented, there are no double beds available. Mosquitos were few and not very bothersome during our October stay.

The location is behind a full service beach side restaurant that offers renters 10% discount. This means access to the beach and dining is very good. Our 2 bedroom "apartment" had 2 balconies where one can have breakfast or relax while feeling the breeze and seeing the sea. You must have one of the top floor better rooms to enjoy this. The supermarket at the ground floor and the one next door are a plus. Many car rental agencies nearby make renting a car for the whole stay unnecessary unless you intend to wander the island every day. Cleaning service was great. Discrete and thorough.

We had an amazing time at Mikes on the beach. The apartment is close to a sandy beach, all was family friendly, and very clean. Eva left children's plates, cups and cutlery for our 2 and 4 year-olds, a high chair, and a cot. Thank you so much for all your kindness!

Fantastic host Perfect accommodation Great location

Everything is perfect. The apartment fully equipped, clean, comfortable and stylish. Perfect AC, internet, comfortable beds and pillows. They clean it every second day, change sheets, towels. The location couldn’t be better- on the beach. The area is so peaceful, without traffic or any noise, the sound of waves is the only what you can hear at night. The super market is in the same building so you can get everything you need for the perfect holiday and the apartment is next to a great restaurant so there is no need for cooking. Mike, his dad and aunt are so generous and helpful, they can help you with everything you need. The sandy beach is so clean and enormous so it is never crowded.

The Host was very nice Lady nothing to complain at all. Location was good just that the Beach had to many stones, so we drove each day 2 km to some most amazing little beaches. The best beach to go with the most amazing beach tavernas gorgona bar is Παραλία Λιάκουρη beach. Nothing tops this when you are in this region.

- it was super hard to find it as Google Maps won't help (hint: look for "Mikes supermarket" and it's just next to it). - there is no cafe/coffee place to have a nice coffee/breakfast in the morning as the whole area is super touristy and lots of All-inclusive hotels are around. - the lady entered our apartment without letting us know and complained that we left the Air-con on (with over 40 degrees outside). In the fiurst night the AC did not even work which was quite annoying during summer nights. - for two people (two friends) the room was super small.

Mike had great recommendations for a greek restaurant which was just amazing ("Me Raki"). We went there every night as we loved it a lot (you need a car to get there). The place is close to the beach and you have free parking.
