Quiet location minutes walk from lively Hydra harbour, large room with comfy beds, very clean. Friendly service from this small family run hotel. Exceptional breakfast in the pretty shaded courtyard, different every day.

The pillows were very lumpy and uncomfortable. Time to get new ones! I would have appreciated tea and coffee making facilities in my room.

The breakfasts were fabulous. The family-run hotel is charming and quiet and wonderfully located, close to toe port but still quiet.

The courtyard where breakfast is served was lovely. As was their garden. A nice area to meet other travellers. The breakfasts were amazing.

The lovely family (plus Noah the dog) who run this hotel, always happy to help with a smile. Dad who prepares the breakfasts daily always surprised us with something different and tasty every day. Close to the port, restaurants and shops with no steep hills to climb.

The breakfast was amazing, a true experience! Also the location was great, in 5 minutes we were on the port by foot. The room was bright, clean and comfy. In a time of need, they assist me with kindness.

Mistral hotel sita in a quiet street a few steps away from the lively atmosphere of restaurants, cafes and boutiques. Breakfast is served in a beautiful plant garden and it provides homemade delicacies which make starting the day easy and relaxing. The room was spacious, with a perfect view and extremely clean. I would definitely recommend Mistral as the ideal destination for a lovely time in beautiful Hydra.

I genuinely cannot think of anything. I will absolutely be coming back.

The room was incredibly spacious, clean and charming. The property is beautiful, peaceful, calm and serene. The breakfast is show-stopping, everything is made in house including the particularly delicious sweet treats (shout out to the best rice pudding I have ever had). The staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. The location is stunning, a 2min walk away from a gorgeous restaurant (which was Leonard Cohen’s haven when he lived in Hydra!), and about a 5min walk from the front.

Not that it could be changed in this beautiful building, but maybe a square shower cubicle to give it more space inside, or put taps higher - no complaint, just saying.

On arrival we were welcomed by Nicholas who was extremely friendly and helpful. A great start to our stay. We were on the first floor and the room was a good size, the bed comfy, good wardrobe space, good air con, nice to have windows to open and let the sun in (even through the massive heat wave). The bathroom itself was small but did the job for our 5 night stay. The shower was a bit of a let down - very tight squeeze to get in and shut the doors (and we are average build). If we moved without thinking about this small space, we accidentally nudged the tap off or to the hot or cold side. Had to be super careful in that respect. The free breakfast was out of this world amazing, tasty, different every day, home cooked/made, abundant (got us through to the afternoon!). We looked forward to it every morning and ate 90 to 100% of it. Jenni was an amazing hostess who presented us with this breakfast daily and she tolerated my “5 to 6 cup coffee” husband with delightful dry humour! She always had a funny comment to make. Loved her! One of the house maids was super friendly and greeted us every time we saw her - sorry I didn’t get her name! Unlucky for us it was a heat wave the whole 5 days there so going back and forth from the city centre was quite the trek for this unfit oldish woman, but I achieved it 4 or 5 times a day, albeit puffed on arrival. On a cooler day it would be very pleasant. A thousand thank you’s Jenni, Nicholas and friendly housemaid - you made our stay in Hydra magical. We highly recommend your place and wish you many years of success in your chosen business. You are a credit to the island! Liz and Mark from New Zealand.

Only one possible improvement- more space for luggage and clothes. We are travelling for a long time and needed a bit more luggage space.

Everything was perfect. The garden, the beautiful friendly staff. Most wonderful breakfast of anywhere we had stayed. It was as we had dreamed a Greek Island stay would be.
